Sure, back in the pre-industrial (and during the industrial revolution) the workers could of seized the means of production, yadiyadi ya.... but in a post-industrial world, this, it seems, is impossible, thanks to Thatcherism and New Labour, wealth can be created overnight, and this wealth has allowed a new middle class, a big, strong middle class to grow in Britain. Is there even a typical stereotypical working class in Britain today? No, its been replaced by lazy gits on benefits, sucking up the tax payers money (mostly payed by the middle class BY THE WAY). Do you really think a bunch of pretentious hipster nouveau riche lazy pricks are going to rise against the "man"? The only place I see communism needed is in Islamic countries, who really need to loose their religion stat, its a danger to global society, they can't even have democracy because they just vote in a dictator far worse than the one before, can anyone name me a successful Islamic democracy? Also, lets not forget, we cannot, ever be equal, ever. We can try by destroying Tax Heavens, which I see the only obstacle needed to create a fairer, equal-er society. Hope you enjoyed!

They are not dying out. Poverty is increasing. Middle class spend every day working hmm sounds like working class to me.
The idea of a middle class is subjective you can't define what people think a middle class is as it doesn't exist. Capatalists use the middle class idea to hide the facts like cutting welfare.
Summary
Capatalism = cutting taxes for rich, making poor people pay via poor welfare.
Socialism = high taxes good services.
It is an obvious choice.
Depends how you define poverty, some one who has their own studio flat could be defined as living in poverty.
