CLN Presidential Candidate: NoTie112

Day 1,413, 02:56 Published in Netherlands Switzerland by Pierre Delvaux

I cannot forsake my principles

When the late Jack Ritell, the founding father of CLN, surveyed the eNL political landscape, he found little to admire. What spread out before him was a sorry vista of graft, power abuse, and politico-administrative inertia, orchestrated by the unhidden hand of an arrogant, disconnected Elite. Of course, he was not alone in making such an observation. Where he differed from so many others, where his greatness lay, was in his idealistic refusal to silently accept such a situation.

He chose to put his considerable, ethically gained resources, towards the creation of a new party, one which would adopt a progressivist line and fight for probity in public life: he called it CLN, and it cast a gaze of righteous brightness that was impossible to ignore. When he chose to depart the eWorld, he entrusted its stewardship to me; a responsibility I take seriously.

My endeavors to grow the party and make it a respected presence step up a level today with the nomination of Tonie112 as our candidate for Country President. Tonie is one of the new breed of CLN members; experienced citizens who recognise that the old parties are no longer fit for purpose, and that only the fresh and incorruptible CLN can provide the platform for meaningful improvement. Tonie's record as a government minister and party president are beyond reproach, and his policy platform proposes a clear path towards streamlined governance and the revitalisation of public discourse.

We recommend him to the electorate without hesitation.

Sincerely,
Congressman Pierre Delvaux
Party President of CLN
