Citizen B for Congress - British Columbia - DAL

I wish my fellow British Columbians and all Canadians good tidings in these exciting times. With this latest release of the Independent eDaily News, I am officially announcing my run for re-election in Congress for the Province of British Columbia under the Democratic Action League (DAL) ticket. Having already served two terms as Member of Congress, and because of my other qualifications, I have the experience and ability to help lead Canada during the exciting times that lay ahead for our country. We have regained most of our lands, leading our enemies into the sea, like Saint Patrick led the rats out of Ireland. Canada is reborn again with newfound excitement and ambition. Our economy is growing stronger. Our government has taken new strides to improve our laws and our abilities. Our military has created improvements to its fighting systems to ensure that our enemies are vanquished. My priorities and views of our eCanadian future together are as follows:



Defense, Security and the rebuilding of Canada – Since the invasion and outright capture of our beloved Canada by murderous PEACE countries, Canada has heroicly fought back to regain our territory and drive our enemies off. This has been accomplished by the CAF, our allies, and the ordinary citizen-soldiers of Canada. While we have started to rebuild our nation, infrastructure and economy; we still have a lot of work left to do. We still have territories under enemy occupation and so does our closest ally, the United States. We must continue to fight the good fight so that North America is back in our hands. We must rebuild our hospitals and defense systems as the threat subsides. And we must continue to create stronger bonds with our friends, such as joining Eden which I advocated as your Congress Member. These are no small tasks and will require the efforts of all Canadians including skilled Members of Congress and valiant fighers of the CAF.

The PEACE threat is subsiding, but the danger is not gone. We must never forget this and be prepared at a moment's notice in our call of duty. We can never forget the treacherous and traitorous British who deviously planned with Hungary and other PEACE nations to divide up our soil. Like many other Congress members, I advocated a embago of the eUK as a start to repay Britain for their evil destruction of our nation. I was completely against any kind of treaty with the eUK, much less the non-agression pact that our President unilaterally approved, without input from Congress. With other members of Congress, we are planning to ammend the eCanadian Constitution to require that Congress be required to ratify all foreign treaties by vote. I would like to continue my efforts in office towards that end and am requesting your votes to do so.

As well, we shall never forget the opportunistic French, who aided and assisted PEACE, murdering our citizens, trampling on our soil, and raping and pillaging their way through our land and our possessions. As well, we can not forget our allies who still suffer at the hands of PEACE. We should also not forget the Cobra terrorist organization who sold off Canada’s most secret military documents to those who would do us harm to satisfy their greed and divide our country. With other members of Congress, I am supporting strong safeguards of our nation's military and economic secrets, as well as carefully vetting any foreigners desiring citizenship.

We must continue to protect Canada and all her provinces - at all costs - from the enemies perched at our doorstep. I will continue to work with our President, our military leaders, our Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our Allies to win back our provinces that are still in enemy hands, and help our allies to do the same. I will work with our government to be ever vigilant in rooting out enemy spies, government moles and traitorous citizens. Supporting the CAF and our allied forces will continue to be my most important mission. Like I advocated and voted for our nation's joining of the EDEN alliance, I will ensure that our government will continue to build and retain strong global alliances and mutual protection pacts. My Qualifications Who is Citizen B and what has he done for eCanada? The following are my accomplishments since I have started playing eRepublik only a few short months ago:

- Current two-term Canadian Member of Congress. I had run and won Congressman duties in both Alberta and Prince Edward Island. Since then, I have been extremely active in the eCanada forums. I have helped Canada win back our provinces and continue to help plan our future. I have placed two successful bills in Congress to lower tariffs and taxes to help jumpstart our economy and rebuild for the future. I have placed another successful bill for the safeguarding and transfer of our monetary assets. As Member of Congress, and before, I have also have also helped countless new Canadian citizens learn how to fight, heal and play the game for their success and the success of eCanada as a nation.

- Current Minister of Industries. I have been a cabinet member for three terms now. During the worst part of the war, I took the Ministry of Industries and the eleven companies owned by the Canadian government and have rebuilt them into successful enterprises. All of the companies were shuttered. Without any government funding, I picked these industries up by their bootstraps, and slowly have jumpstarted them and the eCanadian economy. I focused on industries that would help our war effort out first - iron and weapons - and have brought these companies back to life producing weapons for our fight. I have taken two companies and using slave labor from the Iranians and French, and have made them productive, producing arms and hospitals for eCanada. Now that these companies are in Canadian lands, they are more successful than ever. I am proud to say that the Ministry of Industries has completed one Q5 hospital already, and expects to complete a second one in about a week. I anticipate that Congress and the President will place one in Quebec shortly. As of now, we have the majority of our companies operating and providing jobs for Canadians, and products and profit for eCanada. There are a few companies located in captured Canadian territory, and we expect to bring them back on line shortly, as our provinces are secured.

- Current eCanadian Ambassador to eRomania, one of our most important allies. I maintain contacts within the Romanian Government and Military and have helped bring the Romanian elite soldiers here to Canada to fight help defend our beloved nation. I have also set up an office in the eCanada forums for topics of interest between Canada and our great ally, Romania. I have collected and posted a wealth of detailed information including up-to-date contact and status information of all current Romanian government posts, elected officials and military groups.

- Current CAF reserves soldier – I have quickly achieved the rank of Colonel through my heroic actions defending Canada and supporting our allies on the battlefield. I expect to achieve the rank of General by the end of my next term in Congress if you are so gracious as to re-elect me.

- Former Minister of Citizenship and Immigration (CI) – Under my skilled management CI implemented a program to bring foreign fighters to eCanada to help in our defense and bolster the populations of our most important provinces. We also sucessfully carried out a program to evacuate hundreds of eCanadian citizens trapped behind enemy lines.

- Former DAL Party President – Running for DAL PP for the first time, I garnered over 90% of the votes (200 in all) in the DAL PP elections due to my efforts at coaching new Canadians to become healthy, successful players contributing to eCanada.

- Current DAL party Recruitment Committee Chairperson – Under my leadership, we had grown the DAL party by 1000% in less than two months and had made DAL the largest party in eCanada.

- A friend to eCanada and the world. In my short time here, I have made many friends in this eWorld, over 1000 to date.

- I run successful private businesses, an organization and a newspaper. And I have been active in the eCanada forums, the DAL forums and irc.

In short, I am a go-getter. I am highly motivated, ambitious, ethical and driven to make Canada the number one country in eRepublik. I am not power hungry, nor am i devisive. I plan to continue to devote my hard work and dedication to my duties as a Congressmen of Canada. I have always run honest, ethical, clean political campaigns. I believe I am as qualified, if not more so, than my worthy opponents in this congressional race.

Additional major points of my platform that I will be focusing on during my third term are as follows:

Economics - Since the war, with my leadership and that of others, our economy is now growing dramatically. Many Canadian entrepreneurs are opening new businesses. Well-paying jobs are now plentiful. However, supplies are higher than necessary to meet demand. This has driven the prices for goods down to affordable levels for eCanadian citizens. However, with the success of our markets, comes foreign competition often operating with unfair advantage. We need to do more to suppport eCanadian business to ensure our profits remain here, and also ensure high paying jobs for our citizens.

I will be advocating strategic increases in foreign tariffs to support our businesses, employment and wages. I would rather encourage foreign investment into our businesses. I will be advocating the creation of a new Bank of Canada, with careful safeguards, to provide loans and investments to secure and profitable eCanadian business as well as entrepreneurs with well thought-out business plans. I will also be working with Congress and our Cabinet to develop plans to encourage growth of our population to sustain our economy, our markets and our fighting strength.

As Minister of Industries, and as a private businessman, I have built on my economic knowledge to add an understanding of exactly what steps must be made to continue the rapid development of our economy. As Congressman, I will endeavor to ensure that the proper steps are taken to continue the growth of our economy, avoidance of disruption and profitability for all eCanadian citizens and businesses.

Government reform - we continue to make improvements to the Canadian government since the pre-war administrations, but there is still more we can do. I will support increased governmental openness and accountability. I will also continue to advocate and monitor improvements to the CAF and their weapon and material distribution system and logistics. And I will continue to help develop our Constitution to ensure our freedoms, rights and security are balanced.



Other foreign affairs - It is vital that eCanada retains our foreign power and keep track of our friends and enemies. We can never allow any situation similar to what happened with the eUK to ever happen again. (The eUK, which was thought to be one of our strongest allies, opened their borders to Hungary and PEACE, that enabled the unmitigated attack on and destruction of eCanada. The government was asleep at the switch.) Part of this effort consists in having working ambassadors in every country. In the past this has been a problem. Under our two recent MoFAs, I advoated major improvements to the Ambassador program and it has been implemented very successfully. I will continue to ensure that our Foreign Service is well run and organized. And I will continue to ensure that our foreign intelligence is timely, accurate, and substantial to help keep our borders secure and know our friends from our enemies.

New Canadian Citizens - Canada needs new citizens as we never have before. We need to bring new citizens in and coach them to being successful and health players in the game. These new citizens are the defense and lifeblood of our great nation of Canada. They are the workers we need to grow our markets. They are the business owners we need to grow our economy. They are the newspaper writers we need to educate, entertain, and grow our diversity. They are the voters we need to ensure government accountability. They are our future politicians we need to improve our government and continue to build our great society. And they are the CAF soldiers we need to join in battle and strenghten Canada against our current and future threats. I have spent countless hours contacting our new citizens through my activities as Congressman, the former Minister of Immigration and the DAL Recruitment Committee Chairperson. I will continue to work with the Ministry of Education to see that our new members are learning how to be successful at eRepublik so that they don't become frustrated and leave or drag down our economy with low wellness. I plan to work with MoE to develop new programs and provide new ideas for doing so. I urge you to vote for me to ensure that we don't forget about; and we don't fail these new citizens. Because if we do, do we not fail Canada itself?



Many of you know me by now, and how strong I value Canada. I am a dedicated patriot and have devoted every possible bit of my boundless energy into improviding, and supporting our nation. I always gives my 100% plus - to whatever effort I am involved in. I am dedicated and determined. If elected, I will continue to put my energy and drive to work hard in Congress to continue to ensure we defeat our enemies, build our nation, and keep Canada the number one nation that other countries are talking about.
