That's right folks China is looking to join one of the super alliances, the major complaint about China joining EDEN is that we're too expensive. Yeah Phoenix is morally corrupt and ethically wrong (according to the Chinese) but they are the right price.
We need to VOTE up the EDEN proposal and other EDEN friendly newspapers in China!
We also need to send out leaders PMs that it is better to lower the costs of the contract then pay for guns to fight the Chinese.

It's better to have the Chinese Army fighting with us, than against us (and there is a lot of them). That's how it is going to end up too, if they're not with EDEN they're with Phoenix.

Well from reading the comments on the debates, it sounds like they don't like Phoenix but don't think they can or wont pay for EDEN. They are debating but I think our Ambassador needs to get over there and do some smooth talking.
Go EDEN and see the high irons returned eventually.
Go PHOENIX and never get them back (without paying).
China need to think of long term cost.
I think China is wondering if EDENs land bridge to Asia is just going to exchange its Hungarian and Serbian overlords for Polish and Croatian overlords. A very tangible threat if you ask me. EDEN should reduce the costs for China because a cooperative China will be much better for the Asian front than an uncooperative one. Then again if China joins Penix and the Croatian land bridge is a success they can pretty much kiss those two high iron regions goodbye.
