Changes, changes, changes...

Day 1,898, 14:20 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Gareth.4686

For the last few days there have been whispers of a new map, rapidly followed by the questions "there is a new map?", "what map?", "what's it like?" and "how's it different?".

To answer these questions I'm using a mixed approach, first and foremost, yes there is a new map; and the easiest way to explain what map, what it's like and how it's different is by pointing you at this article
New Map

While I currently haven't got access to the map so I haven't had chance to explore it fully looking at the above article shows that there are clearly some fairly major changes, for example - it looks different and cities have been added.

This poses some more questions "when will I get it?", "why have they done it?" and "what other changes are planned?".

To answer these I again consult the above article, noting that it says that it'll be rolled out in the "following weeks", as for what that means, your guess is as good as mine. As for why they've done it the article mentions "changes to the political module" and also suggests that it'll give "hints about the future" which, in turn, suggests further changes; it also talks about the "latest product" suggesting, as we know, there have been some in the past, and that there will be more in the future. As for what these are all I have to go on is that the new map will give hints.

Having read this article and the one above I ask the one question that is on everyone's mind at this moment, "do you like it?". My answer to this question is from what little I know, yes, but without exploring it fully it's hard to say. However, I will leave you to make your own mind up.
