With the new game mechanics, our goal is resource maximization, while minimizing the unique resources of our enemies. Suddenly our war against the UK is no longer useless.
The two major resources we are missing are grain and oil. As well, our only fruit is an Irish holding...that of our ally. I have discussed with the two major USA presidential hopefuls, Josh Frost and CRoy, about the possibility of region swapping. Both are open to the idea, providing we find a way of making it work. (Would require either going to war with the US, or finding a neutral country to help) I, too, am pro region-swapping. My major concern is the financial expenditure required.
My MoD, MoFA, and myself will be considering all options to get the resources we need. The UK might not be the best place to acquire regions, but they might be. Who knows? I can make no promises about which regions we will try and acquire, only that we will try.
I'd also like to revisit funding for both the CAF and TCO. I would like to make a public metric for giving out public funds, based on the social, economical, and reliable damage impacts of the groups. This metric would be publically available, and provide the public with a clear understanding of how and why their tax dollars are being spent. This may very well allow for funding to be provided for a "citizen army", but the merits of such a program would have to be weighed against the metric.

Really nice to know that, you not only have the foresight but, that you have taken concrete actions to determine possible solutions to overcome this deficit.

also, Ireland is looking grain also, maybe if US and Canada help pay for it and get Ireland to a grain region, Ireland could take ya down to another region of your wishing

Opening talks now is a good idea. Countries will need to move quickly in order to have the needed regions to keep the financial momentum we've finally gained going.

The map is going to change drastically in the coming weeks. We need leaders with cools heads and a clear focus to keep EDEN/Bros strong. More than ever, it's a time for logic over emotion as we strive to redistribute RM regions. A leader's integrity and reputation will make a difference in gaining the trust of other countries.
