First off, I would like to thank each and every one of those individuals who was kind enough to vote for me to allow me to get back into congress for the belle province of Quebec. As I said in my last article, I was not entirely sure if I would actually be getting back into congress this time around so this has been a pleasant surprise. On a more personal note, I will say that downtown Toronto this weekend has been….quite an interesting experience, though it’s one I could have lived without. So onto the more….nah, I can’t even say important, but onto the more relevant material.
My Votes.

Do you agree to transfer 70000 CAD from the country accounts to Revenue Canada? More grease for the wheel that is eCanada. Voted Yes.
19) President of Poland proposed a mutual protection pact with Canada? Long time ally that we are now renewing our MPP with after allowing it to expire priorly for potential tactical reasons. Voted yes.
20) President of Canada proposed a mutual protection pact with USA? Another one of those long time allies that we pretty much always have an MPP with. Voted Yes
21) Do you agree to transfer 2500 USD from the country accounts to Revenue Canada? We build up an odd amount of currency from many different countries. This is all due to foreign trade and the taxes that are put on it. So if you examine the various currencies in the countries account you can get some level of idea how much trade we have with those countries. Voted Yes.
22) New Citizen Message?

The old message directed new Canadians to the old forums, which given the situation with 1ronman have necessitated the moving of said forums to a new location. Voted Yes.
23) Do you agree to transfer 1027 ESP from the country accounts to Revenue Canada? This is another example of some of the random currency that is collected in the governments coffers. Voted Yes.
24) President of Canada proposed a mutual protection pact with Spain? Yet another one of those aged alliances that we have had forever that simply needed to be renewed. Voted Yes.
25) Tax change: Food; no change. Voted No.
26) Tax change: Weapon; no change. Voted No.
27) Tax change: Wood; no change. This vote, and the previous two votes were simply proposed for the sake of accumulating experience. This has prompted a bit of a face off within congress, as last term this particular issue came up, and some within eCanada found it disturbing. The current Speaker, Frankypicoto warned each and every one of us that we would be warned should this happen again. Well it did, and those involved were indeed warned. I was glad to see that the honoured speaker followed through on her word. Voted No.

Do you agree to transfer 29762 CAD from the country accounts to Revenue Canada? More grease, same wheel. Personally, I have always been happy to have it continue spinning. Voted Yes.
Congress.
Foreign investment. The concept of this particular thread is that the Canadian government begin purchasing and operating companies upon foreign shores. The countries and companies chosen would be those that have red hot markets with the simple intent of making a profit and shipping those profits back to Canada for our own good. This idea would be a reversal of what we pushed through in congress a couple of weeks ago regarding our import tax rate. In this particular situation, we would not simply be keeping Canadian money within Canada, we would be taking it from foreign countries and bringing it to Canada. Right now the biggest questions within this particular topic are who would run these companies, and who would dictate their mandate.
Change to New citizen message. As I said a little further up in my votes section, this entire thread came about simply because of the actions of 1ronman. While it is true that 1ronman has not been found guilty of any crimes, I think we would all find it rather easy at this point to say that he is probably guilty of the crimes he has been accused of given his…denials, and decision to abandon the country. It’s too bad really as he was on the surface, a superb individual and would have made a good country president would he have proven to be trust worthy. He has also shown that no one is beyond suspicion. Of course that is suspicion, not accusation, which is a very different action. We should always be skeptical of those out there, who are looking to take advantage of us, but we should never let that hold us back from trusting those who appear worthwhile, otherwise, as a group we will never be able to prosper and grow, as we will never be able to work together.
That is about it for the congress stuff this time around, it has only been 7 days though since my last report, and it has also been a pretty quiet time in Open Door congress.
Until next time, thanks again for that win guys, when I write out a true and proper 10 days article.
Major, Congressman Etemenanki, Minister of Immigration.

No comment about the Poland rental deal then?
When I had written this (not posted it), the Poland rental deal was still within Closed Door congress. My position on the Poland rental deal is that I was somewhat in favour of the idea, but felt that Poland was offering far to much money, and I desired a public referendum on the idea. Unlike others, I believe that as much as Poland wants to offer us a large sum of money, and that that is good, it can also be a bad sign of things to come. I expressed as can be read in the actual exchange in congress, that Poland in Manitoba puts them very close to our future Titanium mines. Beyond that, I feel that Congress does not have the right to decide something on this scale without consulting the people in some form of referendum. The question also stood as to what would be done with the 3000 gold should the deal happen? I was also quite disapointed with the break down in communication that had occured, obscuring many of the problems that I saw arising from this particular deal.
As such, when the vote came, I abstained because I was not entirely against the deal, but fealt that enough information had not been given to vote in favour of it.
Thank you for keeping us updated with the on-goings in congress.
Glad to see that somebody is hold accountable to their votes and actions. You may be the first congress person yet to wish for a public referendum before any hasty decision making. With that, I'm happy to see that you're re-elected.
If I'm not mistaken, Poland is renting Manitoba with Eden backing. This means that should they invade our future Titanium regions, Eden would intervene and come to our aid. So that should rule out any ill composed demeanour surrounding Poland.

Cheers Etemenanki
I actually read the thread on the forums and thought you did a good job, went in with an open mind and come to a fair and transparent decision. Was just giving you a bit of stick because I was surprised to not see anything about it in your congress report.
Great work!
