Lets get serious these donations are impossible. Get real. Free gold we have none. The gold OMG the gold, we have 0 gold income. The gold we have is a incident from party gold that happened last time admins changed the game.

Jacobi and Treian decided we should just give it away, it's free right. half price upgrades but we can make 8 donations in 2 days, all good.

This is bullshit, it's right there. Why do we buy these games, because Jacobi says it's OK? We don't need another 1ronman thank you.

Ya, that gold is much better just sitting there rather than producing a daily supply of weapons that will increase our stockpile as well as our citizens strength...

The weapon companies may even lead to the sale of raw produced by noobs, who can then re-invest that CAD into their development

agreed that the very persuasive case made by HOPE is not necessarily generalizable to other MUs. Seems like a rush to spread largesse on the premise that "if they get some i want some too". Will be interested to follow the debates/votes in open door congress. Will someone raise the opportunity cost of these expenditures?

Really funny whats going on in ODC.

MU already receive most of the income of the gov. We have a VAT to as high as 20% only for that. 750K CAD per month (about 1000g).

Now with no debate, because we don't have enough time left for the offer, all those we are going to give a total of 500g to anyone who ask, without asking question. It is a nice budget raise.

The game is beginning borer. Now all that matter is military affairs. Politic is only about distributing wealth to MU and managing wars or battles.

O well. I will continue to click the fight button. Witout asking too much questions and getting involves in "politic".

I like how it's suggested that by supplying these companies the MUs will become less reliant on gov't funding. Does that mean by buying them these companies we can make budget cuts? LOL I can just hear the screaming now. A good sales pitch is always better than the truth I guess.

It means eCanada will do more damage as a whole, which is a good thing. Honestly, what else should we do with the gold? Hoard as much as we can and brag to our allies while they actually invest it in companies and become stronger?

1/2 is a loan, 1/2 is a donation. I agree the process is happening a bit quicker than I'd like, but in the end I think it's probably a good thing to help ween the MUs off the gov't teat.

Also, the rent is too damn high

Why don't you talk with the Party Presidents and make it mandatory for every congressmen to donate the 5 gold from the medal he/she gets?

40 x 5gold= 200 free gold in the national treasury every month

If some one is unwilling to donate then the Party President will disqualify him/her from the elections in every 24th of the month.

If some one gets elected and does not donate the principle of "naming and shaming" will take place.

And you could easily make sure that every one is donating by simply requiring screenshots "before/after" the donation in the treasury.

This is a logic debate of which I'm seeing very little. The original thread had much debate, pluses and minuses. In a few short hours an entire new deal was written and excepted and put to vote with no input. It was then expanded to a huge new deal of giving away half of Canada's gold, NOW. We have no time to debate it must be now, done, over. I present the different side, of course there's o room for it to be heard except here as I do it myself. Unless you believe politics is only one-sided?
