Dear all Birmingham residents,


This thread is to officially announce my intent to run for Mayor of Birmingham in the upcoming elections. (August 20th)

But why should you vote for me? As mayor, you'll want somebody taking the reigns who is active not just in the main eRepublik game but on the forums, the press and who will respond to your Personal messages as swiftly as possible. You need somebody prepared to give the time and dedication to Birmingham that it so richly deserves. I am that player.

What would I bring to Birmingham? My plan is to fight tooth and nail for an improved hospital in the region for a start, achieving any sort of hospital at all is great news but when regions like Bristol and Cardiff have a Q3 hospital, despite having only marginally more people (Cardiff has, at the time of writing, only 5 more residents.) it makes no sense that Birmingham has to make do with a Q1 hospital.
The NHS is a great, if costly, success and I owe much of my wellness to the gifting program from the mayor. I plan to maintain this program for anyone under 90% wellness throughout the day on Saturdays.

I aim to have an open door policy for anyone in the region who needs help with any aspect of the game, from employment to receiving food packages for those starving themselves to death, as a region and a nation we are only as strong as our weakest member and I consider it a responsibility of the mayor to help those who are struggling to help themselves.

Finally, I plan to promote Birmingham on the National and international stage to encourage industry, residents and investors to sit up and take note of the sparkling gem of the Midlands.

So when August the 20th rolls around, don't forget to put an 'x' in the box marked Chrissetti.
