Hello fellow citizens,
Welcome to the second issue of Canadian News Corp.’s ‘large’ publication. The first issue went pretty well, and I thank everyone who voted and subscribed.
As you can see in the index. A few new sections have been added. A question and answer section. This is were anyone, whether new or old, can send me a question via PM to my account (Emilio Sanchez,) and I will answer it. The question that gets asked the most, or one that I pick, will be put on here for everyone else to see.
A markets section is also included in this issue. It will list currency exchanges for some of the top countries in eRepublik. Also, Country Treasury will be included. This will show what different countries have in their country treasury.

> Our battle with France a few days ago, although we lost the fight, was a great success. It helped our citizens (Ones who fought) Gain more experience points, and made our military even stronger. Which was the original purpose of the fight anyways. As you can see from the stats below, we did a fantastic job. It was us against France and 6 of it’s allies.
Stats on the War:
Canada - 6,582 fights and 253,187 total damage.
France and it’s 6 allies - 13,663 fights and 413,380 total damage.

> A Q4 hospital was approved by congress to be placed in Nova Scotia around a week ago. President Bruck has vetoed it, saying.. “I am vetoing the vote for placing the Q4 hospital in Nova Scotia. The Q4 Hospital will be sold and the funds used to upgrade to a Q5 under the supervision of the MoF.” A new vote for congress was put up and all congressmen/ women are urged to vote on the matter. If pacing the hospital in Nova Scotia receives at least 65% of the votes, then Bruck’s veto will be overturned and the Q4 hospital will be placed there.
> There has been a lot of talk about a merger between eCanada and the eUnited States. I’m sure most of you by now have read articles and topics on the forums about this issue. It has a lot of Canadians worried and angry at the idea. But at the moment, all these ideas and rumours are from the American side, and it is from the citizens, not the government. The eUS government is not saying anything on the matter, and at the moment is it just ideas people are throwing out. The government of Canada has been looking into this, and an article may be released sometime soon.
> Banach along with Plugson. Have announced their “Elite PvP Media Tournament.” This is a writing tournament that will put Player vs. Player against each other to see who has the best writing ability. It will be a knock out style writing challenge and the top three winners will receive gold prizes. All the best to everyone involved.

> The fine against the eUS, which is to pay 100 gold to each country associated in the ATLANTIS alliance. Is not sitting well with many American citizens. There has been talk that the countries that receive this 100 gold from the eUS, will give it back to the United States to keep friendships strong. One example is the eUK. Which has agreed to give back 90 gold, in order to “stay friends.”
> Recently, the Presidents from India, Philippines, and China have been impeached by their congress.

> Mexico, along with several of it’s allies. Have started attacking regions that where taken from them when the eUnited States invaded Mexico. Mexico has retaken The Northwest, and Baja. Portugal has attacked The Central Highlands with several of their allies as well and secured it. Now they have attacked The Northeast, and they have asked for our support.
3. Recent Admin Announcements/ Updates
> Nothing new about the game was mentioned. The only Admin released was the eRepublik Shop. Which is where you can go to buy eRepublik T-Shirts and that’s about it. New items will be added to the shop as time goes on, and admin are taking suggestions as to what new items could be.

4. Political Party Elections (Results as of 17:33 eRepublik time)
> As we all know, the 15th of every month is the time for Party Presidential elections. Below are the results of those elections.
- CEP (Canadian Empire Party)
Bruck with 48 votes or 85.71% of the votes cast.
- CSD (Canadian Social Democrats)
Zanalan with 70 votes or 73.68% of the votes
(In Augustus Baldwinland, Augustus has won this election. So congratulations to him.

1ronman with 27 votes or 72.97% of the vote cast.
- CCF (The Canadian Confederate)
Tie between Cesar Augustus and killswitch. 14 votes each.
- BPQ (Bloc Populaire du Quebec)
Lakikari with 14 votes or 100% of the votes cast. (He was the only runner)
- RFP (Royal Feudalist Party)
Dominik with 12 votes or 100% of the votes cast. (He was the only runner)
- CHAOS (Coalition of Homicidal Anarchists and Organized Sociopaths)
Gabriel Saviorus with 2 votes or 100% of the votes cast. (He was the only runner)
