Canadian Baby Boom and Gold
Booleus
Contrary to what many think, I strongly believe eCanada is in the position to handle a decent sized baby boom.
With the prospect of expanding the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, and the current stability of our territories, I think we really could use more citizens.
The effect of a babyboom could be a double win for us:
1. Our population increases, every player we retain is another productive eCanadian.
2. If the baby-boom is achieved using referrer links, people will hopefully slow down on the conversion of their wages to Gold for training, and instead use the referrer Gold for training resulting in a more stable Canadian Dollar.
I urge everyone to come up with ideas of where and how to get their referrer link out there, and I challenge every eCanadian from Level 1 to 25 to strive for 1 Society Builder medal in the next 30 days.
Post ideas and suggestions below.
shortly after publishing this I saw some great ideas from Fram/Nea Milosu

Good idea, but this topic has been discussed to death. eCanada lacks players, we know.
What is your suggestion to getting more players? You say we should get our link out there, but what if it gets to non-Canadians and we're just being counter-productive?
well, thats where we are going to have to come up with ideas to target places to post our referrer link that is going to be visited mostly by Canadians.

Getting ready for the baby-boom and then making that baby-boom reality.
Agreed but I think we shouldn't overlook what may be a more serious problem, which I shall term "teen drop-outs."
A substantial number of players in the game come and reach the teens in levels. At that point advancement plateaus, and they lose interest and quit. We need to find ways to get people through these difficult teen years and have them settle in to contributing to the country and the society even thought their level advancement has effectively stopped. Note this is a universal problem, not a uniquely Canadian one as far as I can tell.
We have had a substantial population growth for a few days, we've never had a natural population above 5800 people. Not a babyboom, but the slow growth is how Romania got so powerful. When they started out they never had a giant baby boom, just a steady growth of people
So is it a concern to invite people to this game, that are not canadian nationals?
I cant invite anyone at this point anyway, but when I can the invieted people will be from all over the world, and a revenue stream for me...
