Can we collaborate - A social experiment #2
A solid start from eIreland last week in my first social experiment. I suppose I would give us a B+ for collaboration after week 1. A number of people struggled with the concept and reverted to personal attacks when they disagreed with others. That definitely cost us the A-Grade! Maybe we can show improvement with today's question:
Mrs. B is a relatively new player in eRepublik. She is an eIrish Citizen. She has her free Food company and 3 grain companies like everyone else (oh arent we sooo lucky!). She has been quite thrifty of late and has managed to save 30 Gold, which she plans to invest.
What is the best course of action (and why) for Mrs. B with regard to her 30 Gold?
Before anyone suggests it... no she wont be donating it to your personal account!
Just a reminder on the tips outlined earlier on what not to do when giving/receiving feedback:
-Don’t write negative feedback comments with a personal tone - Your message will not be heard.
-Don’t bring your "old baggage" to a new feedback situation
-Don’t take feedback personally - try to see things from the other viewpoint
-Don’t overload your feedback - make it clear and concise
-Don’t become entrenched, or believe that you have all the answers
If you have any suggestions for future questions, or feedback on this project, please feel free to send me a message (Click here to send message) or comment below.

Well she could use the gold to upgrade her town center so that she could fight more per day and increase her strength which in the long run only benefits Ireland.
^ Agreed
Very nice article as usually. Hard question. Quick thinking from my part, no science.
Only q5 companies are really worth the deal. So don't go for that.
She could wait to get 5 more gold and get a nice Rubber. But not in Ireland, not under occupation, not with our low import tax.
She could also cooperate with other people (if she could find people to trust) and build a collective with shared starting funds and shared profits (that's what I did when I first started the game). Again, she 'd have to wait for Ireland to liberate some regions.
She could place them in the monetary market, make them IEP, put them back in the monetary market and wait until they are bought by a person or the bot. She would wait a lot, a lot, but double her gold perhaps.
And another plan, which I won't share, cause it's just too good, lol.
30 Gold isn't a massive amount, so I would advise her that unless she can find a secure investment with excellent returns she should continue to save.
If it was a guy, I would probably try to scam him! : P
well, first, a newspaper, and then upgrade her companies

At 30G, I says hold on a little bit more. I invested about 30G in my companies and have been seeing a good amount of extra cash coming into my pocket but I say save up a little more.
Id say for now save
Agree with loyen...first a newspaper where she can write about glory and beauty of Viktor Kurgan
The rest of gold she should use to bribe other people to praise Viktor Kurgan...
She should convert the gold into IEP, and proceed to fully invest the cash into salpeter mines.
I'd tell her to consider saving it, but if she is impatient like me, upgrade her food company to Q2, and possibly get a better RM thingy...
It took me about 45g to get properly upgraded with a maxed out town centre and Q2 food and arms factories. That was while upgrades were half price though. It was all I had as I never bought gold.
I had to sell some gold for IEP as a while ago I bought 120 days worth of houses, and then they did away with houses...
Anything your American comrades can do to help fan the fires of revolution?
I totaly agree with kurgan!!!!
Blow the lot on a variety of weaps on the black market, travel around a bit and have some fun whilst learning what all the buttons do.
If, like Riggy says, she can find people she trusts to collaborate with, then she should look at the friend with the most impressive land and the highest military rank, and listen to him/her, instead.
"Good road frontage", it's not just a real life concept 😛!
And then leave an offering at the Temple of Kurgan as soon as she returns home.
If Mrs. B is interested in 'Working as a Manager' in her companies she should save up even more Gold. The main priority to self producing all needs through WaM is A LOT OF GOLD. So, later on she should take care of all her food needs by upgrading her free food factory then augmenting her Food RM's with some high end FRM Companies.
Once she's done making her self 100% off the market food-wise she can then work on a Weapon program similar to the food one.
I had about 50g when they changed the health system. It cost me about 45 in all to get Q2 weapons and food factories, and max out my town centre. (I don't remember the exact amount I spent, might have been 50.)
