This all comes back to when we as a country almost had our asses handed to us and it all came crashing down. I joined eRepublic just before Pennsylvania went down and I was at ground zero for the New Jersey debacle. But this isn’t about what happened to us back then, I want to talk Russia.
Right before New Jersey fell the US got on its hands and knees and sent a humiliating proposal to Russia of our surrender. It divided our country and almost broke our spirit. Russia rejected our surrender and they let us have it. We were down to only Florida (Poor Florida?). Russia had it all in it hands yet could not close its fingers tightly enough. They balked. We will never know what would have happened had they attacked Florida. We survived, fought back and now look how kick ass we are.

Holding down a country such as what is happening in France today is not a good long term solution. Spain would have liked to wipe the country off the map fast but it got cute. It tried to do it perfect and as a result has had to deal with the constant threat of resistance wars and a potential take it all back scenario. In France’s Solem Hour Phoenix has signed MPP’s with her. In the game of international politics the enemy of my enemy is my friend. France only has Corsica left and they are desperately trying to fortify it. Yet, even if France looses Corsica they will be a thorn in our side till some settlement is worked out between them and Spain/Poland.
Spain and Poland are unlikely to keep France forever. It is an annoying distraction to your population who waste damage fighting in Resistance Wars when they could be using their damage wisely. And if Spain does not attack Corsica like Russia did not attack Florida they might be faced with a long term survivor France with its MPP’s still intact.

So, Why is this all important for US. I know your dying to know.
Because the American People WANT TO INVADE ENGLAND.

Spain is currently bordering the UK as it occupies France. In any peace settlement those territories would revert to French control. We are currently on a slow clock to invade.
You need to be decisive to win and you need to take advantage of your opponents weaknesses quickly. You can’t screw around try to make every move perfect. We hardly loose anything important if we launch a major attack and at the very least we will put the FEAR of GOD AND THE AMERICAN MILITARY in the hearts of every Englishmen. Attack them from 4 or 5 directions at once. See Britain have a massive heart attack even if they do manage to fight us off with help from their allies.
