Calling all aspiring reporters!!!
Maxmillian VonWillebrand
I have been running this paper for a short bit now, and it was originally intended to be a weekly rag. However, after publishing a couple of articles myself, and garnering a well-spoken lead investigator by the name of Zagarius, I have turned it more towards the direction of just being a paper of the people and for the people. I want this paper to move in the direction of being a people's paper.
That being said, I am sending out the call once again, to all of you would be reporters out there who would like to have your voice heard or just show off your ability to communicate well to the masses with the written word. I do not offer any sort of salary or compensation at this time for articles submitted and/or published, but that may change in the future with the implementation of advertising dollars. I do however read through the articles submitted to me and edit them for fluency and grammar, when needed. I also go out and find appropriate artwork to accompany your article to make it more appealing to the people. If you would like to know how I am to work with as an EIC, just ask Zagarius.
Obviously, my goal here is to increase my subscriber base - but I am doing so by offering you, the working citizens, an opportunity to become a published writer without the expense of starting your own paper.
Please, VOTE THIS UP so people know they have an option as writers. Send me a PM if you are interested in becoming a staff writer here at Northwest Connection. I am looking forward to publishing many more great articles this year!!

i liked your last article
Thanks Saddam...That one was written by Zagarius - like I said earlier, he's got some talent for doing his research and writing articles. Just wish I had a few more like him on staff here at NWC...
Max, I recommend John C pm him he is a good reporter. He has helped me out a couple times.
Thanks Joe - I'll send him a link to this article...
OK, so there's a LOT of John C guys out there - can you send him my info Joe? 🙂
Interesting... I've enjoyed a certain citizen's article (Joseph Manuel) although I think his grammar or way of saying things might not be what you're looking for... but he did touch on a subject and speak out for an unheard people.
Question though...
Do articles usually just deal with Erepublik or with anything?

Myself, I write about eRepublik only... You can write what you want, but make it clear if it is RL (real life)... Don't want to confuse people.
Oh. What level can you get your own newspaper? I'd like to try it...

Zagarius, I enjoyed your article. Pointed out a lot of flaws... MW was right when he said you had talent.

Articles MUST pertain to eRep, as it is in the rules...As to the level which you can get a newspaper, it's at level 8, and comes at a cost of 2 gold. One of the great opportunities with my paper is giving people the chance to write what they want to write and not have any of the costs associated with the paper...
Oh. So the rules for the site is it has to be about Erepublik, or just your newspaper? What happens if someone write about something else?
No, not my rules Beret, it's in the game rules...All postings must have some relevance to the game - or at least NOT be about RL issues. Hence the reason ppl are able to post things like short stories and poetry - they are not about RL...I have seen articles get deleted by admin that were not true to the rules...
