On the Chopper

The night was long, the breeze of air pressed against my face so beautifully and gently, it was raining. I was gearing my weapon and getting ready for the choppers landing against those Turks. My comrades next to me, strapped onto the chopper began loading their guns and arming their grenade lanchters onto their G36. Some were even trying to sniper from the window.

Suddenly, the Sergeant crie😛 "GET READY, WE JUMP IN 3...2.. NOW!!"

Our straps onto the seats were released and we prepared for a parachute landing on the once holy orthodox city. We jump meeting air pressure. I pulled my parachute and was pushed up by the sudden force of the air, before continuing my decent slowly. Turkish AA Guns stationed on boats in the Bosporus opend fire on our positions. Around us hundreds of men descended down on the city with parachutes, a few of which died before reaching the city.

The Journey down

Landing atop a Turkic Coffee house, I withdrew my M4A and proceeded to met the fourth Bulgarian infantry brigade at the remnants of the Church of the Holy Apostles. On my way I met Skopian AA Turrent men. They were having difficulties operating the gun and were to distracted trying to read a large manual written in Slavic Cyrillic. They were easy targets and I fired my rifle at them, not giving them time to retaliate with their puny M1s .

Skopians trying to use a AA gun

I met a joint American and Romanian division near a Mosque and Kebab-cafe in the centre of the city, where I explained to them that I was from the 2nd Greek paratrooper unit. We marched our lonely journey through the city meeting little resistance, little alive civilians and alot of iconic Artillery fire in the skies as well as the distant cry of soldiers and gun fire.

The Gun Fight

Then suddenly some men in a truck yeld at us in Turkish and some other languages at us and pulled over. We took cover behind a 1970s rusty Toyota Jeep and opened fire. They took cover behind their truck and the long gun fight began.
For hours we were shooting at them getting sick of the continuous recoil of our guns.

Croat Apache Fighters moving in

A duo of Croat Apache fighters appeared suddenly. They discharged two missiles each at the enemy causing a massive forceful explosion. Body parts rained the sky for 3 seconds. We were covered in blood.

We continued our advance but by the time we met the Bulgarian unit in the Church. The Battle was over. On the day of international Orthodox Christmas, the day of Ogios Ioannis was also the day of the liberation of the Holy City of Orthodoxia.

Victory

We congratulated the Bulgarians for their glorious victory and we proudly marched through the battered city, which was now under Bulgarian rule.

Now our chance to prove our glory in the Balkan Wars has began!

Hail Greece
