Brutus never became Caesar

You might have clicked because of the intruiguing title. You might have clicked because you are bored. You might even have clicked because the eCanadian medias interest you.
If you know me, chances are that you know what this is about. If you don't, please continue reading. In both situations, I think that what follows could very well interest you.
Before I start, I'll introduce myself to people who don't know me.
I am what one ould name a behind-the-scenes person. I make sure things run smooth, I am EDEN's Military Commander, I am a very active member of the CAF HC. I have several friends in many allied nations, and even more in eCanada.
First off, let me say that all the recent so-called "controversies" are extremely tiring to me. Being used to be handling tons of money around, I find it ridiculous that some people keep on insinuating that the CAF's High Command is skimming off the top here and there. Seriously, if I even wanted to steal money, I could have fun with a thousand gold in litterally seconds. Also, I'm not Addy, perhaps, but I am decently wealthy. Why would I steal a few hundreds of CAD here and there?
Second, many people are saying that the Canadian Armed Forces are not transparent enough. Actually, Jacobi is doing an audit once in a while, and the system in place to keep track of the amounts spent is incredibly thorough.
Which brings me to the main point : Why do people even talk about these things they name "scandals".
One could say that they want to shed some light on things that pertain to the public eCanadian domain. Whereas this would be a good reason, someone really trying to understand and deliver an unbiased message would be more concerned with the exactity of what they say. They would ask questions in a private manner to make sure there isn't something they are forgetting about, they'd double-check their math, and, ideally, they'd have a small discussion with the responsible person to make sure something's wrong. They wouldn't jump on every piece of news available and try to deform it.
Then again, another reason could be that these people want their 15 minutes of glory. Whereas this is interesting, it is hard to prove, and some are simply too tenacious to only be motivated by fame.
What else is there? Well, the last opportunity is that they might want some power for themselves, and the only thing they can do that would grant them the said power is to start a scandal, and repalce the people who would be forced to quit. Simply put, it is the people who do not have either the aptitudes, the will or the patience to reach high positions.
Being an amateur of Roman history, it did remind me of this sentence I heard somewhere : "Brutus never became Caesar".
I really recommend that the guys doing these things think about it. Maybe an Augustus will emerge.

wut?
good article, hope your right with the Augustus eCanada could us a ePax Romana to go with our great country.
Cesar Augustus or Augustus Baldwin? One may have left but I think the other is still around. Et tu, Augustus?
...but I guess that is beside the point of your article. Perhaps some are seeking those 15 minutes of fame, while others believe that pushing for accountability leads to less waste, though I can see how those demands do get annoying when you feel there is nothing to we need to be concerned about.
I'd like to be Emperor Augustus, thanks.
Maybe Cesar Caligula already is here?
Also what scandal are you talking about, I haven't seen anything on a particular CAF scandal in a couple weeks. Unless you are talking about Dean's article on disbanding each organization, that isn't talking about any person or group of persons, just that some members are corrupt. That is because of two things;
1) This is a game
2) You same people have been in power for three years
One type of corrupt would be when you stockpiled all that money, you did it for a good cause, and it was a smart thing to do. But you hid it from your boss (the government) and wouldn't have let them do anything about it, which is a corrupt act. Overall I agree people shouldn't worry about government money they only pay about 0.1 percent of it...
😁^ lol @ wes talking about corruption....
Just so people don't get confused 😁
Julius Caligula is the third account of Wes Lewis since he left his original body behind.
It feel it's quite inapropriate to talk about people stockpiling money and how it's wrong, when you think that was it not for this practice, the one speaking above would have herited of all this money.
Just saying.
Actually that money would have been recycled and the other funds left in the treasury or more then 75% likely those 2000 gold bonds repaid earlier, also; this is Wes Lewis with a name change so first account.
