Δεν θα γράψω για πολιτική ούτε και για εθνικά θέματα και φυσικά ούτε για θέματα e-στρατηγικής. Σήμερα θα αναφερθώ σε ένα γεγονός που μου συνέβη χτες και προσωπικά το θεωρώ σαν την ουσία του παιχνιδιού πίσω από το περιτύλιγμα γεωπολιτικής και πολέμου που το καλύπτει.

Ήταν 3:00am (τοπική ώρα) και μόλις είχα συνδεθεί. Λόγω προχωρημένης ώρας, χωρίς πολύ σκέψη έκανα τις βασικές κινήσεις (maximize health, work, train, and work για τις προσωπικές μου εταιρίες). Έπειτα πήγα στις Οδηγίες Μάχης του Υπουργείου Εθν. Άμυνας. Υπήρχαν 2 μάχες εν’ ενεργεία και η 1η προτεραιότητα ήταν στην resistance της N. Cyprus. Χωρίς καθυστέρηση άρχισα να αδειάζω τα όπλα μου εκεί.

Εκείνη την στιγμή έγινε κάτι που λίγες φορές έχω δει στον 1,5 χρόνο που παίζω. Κάποιος άγνωστος συμπαίκτης που χτύπαγε την ίδια ώρα στην ίδια μάχη μου έστειλε ένα μήνυμα προτρέποντας με να συνεχίσω για το BH medal και εκείνος θα σταματούσε για χάρη μου. Συνηθισμένος από τα επίπεδα damage που φτάνουν όσοι παίρνουν τα μετάλλια δεν έδωσα σημασία και με PM του αντιπρότεινα να συνεχίσει αγνοώντας εμένα. Η απάντησή του ήταν που με εξέπληξε ακόμα περισσότερο. Όχι μόνο επέμεινε αλλά μου έκανε donate gold και όπλα για να κάνω tanking.

Το πήρα τελικά εκείνο το μετάλλιο ίσως γιατί οι περισσότεροι είχαν στραμμένη την προσοχή τους στην άλλη σημαντική μάχη της e-χώρας, ίσως όμως γιατί κάποιοι δεν χτύπησαν καθόλου για χάρη μου.



Δεν είναι ότι ήταν το 1ο BH medal που κέρδισα, δεν είναι που το πήρα μετά από 1,5 χρόνο υπομονής (αφού σπάνια ξοδεύω το damage μου σε άγνωστες μάχες με στόχο αποκλειστικά το μετάλλιο και δεν κάνω tanking). Eίναι η συμπεριφορά. Η συμπεριφορά κάποιων συμπαικτών μας είναι που κάνει αυτό το παιχνίδι διαφορετικό, ίσως γιατί ελπίζουμε να βρούμε εδώ ότι λείπει από την ζωή εκεί έξω… BROTHERHOOD.

Γι αυτό και αφιερώνω αυτό το τόσο πολύτιμο μετάλλιο στον άγνωστο φίλο μα πάνω απ’ όλα σέβομαι και τιμώ τέτοιους παίχτες και χαίρομαι να μάχομαι στο πλευρό τους.

Γιατί το παιχνίδι που παίζουμε δεν είναι απλά ένα παιχνίδι γεωπολιτικής και μαχών, είναι μία προσομοίωση ανθρώπινων σχέσεων και συμπεριφορών.

I will not write about politics nor about national issues and certainly not on issues of e-strategy. Today I am going to mention something that happened to me yesterday and I personally consider it as the essence of the game behind the wrapper of geopolitics and war that cover it.

It was 3:00 am (local time) and I had just logged in. Due to late hour, without much thought I did the basic moves (maximize health, work, train, and work on my personal companies). Then I went to my e-country’s defense orders. There were 2 battles active with the first priority given to the resistance of N. Cyprus. Without delay I began fighting there.

That moment something happened that few times I have seen in the period of 1.5 years that I play. Someone unknown to me player who was fighting at the same time in the same battle by my side, sent me a message urging me to go on for the Battle Hero medal. He also mentioned that he was going to stop hitting in order to help me. Usual to the level of damage needed to take a BH medal in crucial battles I did not pay attention to this incredible offer and I told him to continue ignoring me. His response was that surprised me even more. Not only he insisted but donated me gold and weapons for tanking.

I finally got that medal maybe because most players had turned their attention to the other important battle of my e-country, or maybe because he wasn’t the only one who didn’t hit on my favor.



Its not about wining my first BH medal, not about wining this medal after 1.5 years of patience (because I rarely spend my damage to unknown battles just gathering medals and because I'm not tanking). Its about the behavior. The behavior of some people that makes this game different, maybe because we hope to find here what is missing from our life out there ... BROTHERHOOD.

That's why I dedicate that so precious to me medal to the unknown friend. And above all I express my respect and revere and my deep willingness to fight alongside such players.

Because this game is not just a game of geopolitics and battles, is a simulation of human relationships and behavior.
