Brenflakes for ADP PP!

Brenflakes for Australian Democratic Party President - January 2010
ADP Committee | Recent Events | Recruitment Drive | ADP Businesses.

I've been a member of the ADSP/PD, now ADP ever since i joined this game on day 614, and have made some good honest friends by getting involved. The ADP is more than just a party to me, its a set of ideals and commitments to this country that we all strive to achieve. I've worked hard to ensure democracy has a loud voice in this nation, by being a part of the senate, the cabinet and getting involved. The next logical step for me to take is to announce my candidature for the Party President position, and i've got some idea's that i would put in place if elected.

The ADP Committee.

Deputy PP - Aussie Bloke
Party Liason - Br0adside
Communications Officer - Mr Rosewater
Finance Officer - TBD

All of the people i've got listed for the committee have shown great dedication and honesty, and are a true asset to the party. With this leadership team, i believe the future of the party is in excellent hands.

Recent Events

Well, we cant deny the recent changes havent damaged the party, It has. But rather than dwelling on the past, its time to start moving forward, and rebuilding the party to what it once was. The one thing that hasnt changed, is our core values, and our constitution. These values are what seperates our party from the rest, and we need to start working hard to confirm these values as our goal for the future. With all the bickering going on between the parties latley, its time we all took a step back, admit that we can be better, and work towards a unified country once again. While we may disagree with other parties idea's and goals, we need to work objectivley to achieve a better outcome for everyone. With fresh ideas and new people on the committee, I'll be regularly consulting with other PP's on our relations, both inclusive and independant of the senate.

Recruitment Drive

One thing i think everyone has noticed in the last few months, that is if you werent living under a rock, is us dropping a whopping 1/3 of our membership. This could be attributed to many factors, but again, dwelling on the past will get us nowhere. To increase our party's exposure, and increase communication, I'll be buying ad space, and increasing the frequency of informative and educational articles being put out to our members and the general public, this is the first step in getting people back to our party. Letting them know we still exist!

I'd also like to setup a business school, helping new members decide where to start their companies, and help them get up and running responsibly. More planning would be needed with this, and it would be something i look at doing in the coming weeks.

ADP Businesses

Currently we have the gift company, which isnt being used to its full potential. I'll be setting up a Finance Officer Position on the committee, which will oversee the Gift Business, as well as the new yet to be proposed Weapons Company. The whole idea of having a weapons company will be to provide cost price weapons to all members of the party, as well as a weekly forum activity competition, with gifts and weapons as a prize/reward. Basically, if you participate in the forums during that week, you'll be eligible to win. Actual prizes will be worked out once the weapons company is up and running. To setup the company, i would be looking for donations, and i will kick start things by pledging to donate a Q3 house to raffle off.

I have other ideas, but i think thats more than enough for one article lol. ADP is in a unique position to be able to move forward, and better itself even more, and make greater achievements than it has in the history of the party. Small steps of course, but this is my plan to put us on the road to the kind of success i know we can achieve.

So when we go to the polls to elect a new party president, i ask that you consider me. I'll work hard, consult with the entire party before making decisions, and i'll be truthful and honest in all my endeavours.
