Breaking News: Parliament House Covered In Mud

Day 562, 23:10 Published in Australia Australia by TheBlackAdder

I come to you today live from inside parliament house to tell you that things really are a mess.

Over the last 24 hours parliament has been covered in mud, the damage is grousome with almost all of the senate muddied. The Prime minister reported over $8000 in damages including stains on many Gouchi and Armani suits.

It is unclear where all the dirt came from when several senators started hurling mud at eachother from across the senate occasionally hitting inoccent bystanders with poor aiming. The senators not involved in the incident are reported to have fled parliament house. As such productivity has been hurt severely with some important bills becoming minor news compared to a few silly senators and their mud fight.

Security eventually showed up ejecting many people from the senate for one day, including the speaker, but at the same time overlooked some of the members involved in the mud fight. A media frenzy is said to have started the event rumoured to be instigted by one of the key suspects in the mud fight.

Immediatly after the fight cleaners reportedly went on strike, leaving it up to the senators involved to clean up their own act.

This reporter wonders how long the senate will remain stained with mud.
