Hello again ladies and gentlemen,

As we're heading into another Congressional term things are still looking quite grim relating to the state of Congress itself, There's been a massive rush for players to prove which side of the fence they are on so everyone is being very definitive in their stances opinions no longer matter , all that matters is what *team* you are on ,whose side you have taken.

The issue with this is the world isn't just black and white there are whole huge areas of grey too.

I've heard there are many shades

Team DMV is for Democracy (up to a point)

Team Rylde is for Freedom (but not too much)

I see people blindly agreeing with each side just because of what it stands for -i guess that's ok- but somewhere in the mix Congress loses it's freedom and autonomy ,*We must vote for our team* instead of voting how we believe is killing democracy , We spent the last few weeks basically running without communication because *team* voting gave us a speaker that had ulterior motives that basically killed the forums (Full disclosure i voted DMV3 because i truly believed he'd be the right person for the position)

Don't get me wrong i understand the need for factions in a game such as this and i in no way blame Rylde and DMV3 for utilizing them the way they have . I guess i'm just saying think before you vote , are you voting your opinion or are you just following your team?

Yeah it's too bad, there is a lot of common ground too. For example, RW doesn't support using tax money to fight UK because CPF was against it last time when they weren't in charge. Really, we should both be relishing in killing redcoats. On the other hand, CPF loves Ireland and Colin Lantrip simply because they don't like Rylde when really we should both realize Ireland has been a spoiled brat and our enemy for the last little while and unite to defend our community.

However, all you'll get is both sides calling each other sheep. I still prefer RW though, because there is a lot of freedom to act as you wish, no party whips.

CPF has never been against using tax money to fund wars. I personally have always wanted Canadians to start paying their fair share as a majority of our wars are personally funded by Rylde, DMV, and Dill.

Individuals have donated to fund wars. For each war, Rylde has written articles asking for donations. For example, Xander, Fritzhill, myself have repeatedly donated funds for Rylde's wars.
Exalted Druid also did great organizing RW starters. Even though it's only 1k cc per person, cumulatively it adds up-- coming back from a wipe it's at least 130k cc in total.

Listen to yourself man. A spoiled brat? I guess thats what you call an ally by half your population and a target that's been left alone for too long by the other half. And we weren't an "enemy" until Rylde decided we were.

We have our own egohead we've been dealing with for years and he's really one of the only ones that has held a grudge about this whole thing but he has foreign resources like crazy so it's hard to stop him some time. But stop telling lies about the Irish opinion on Canada.

I don't even lead the Coalition faction, the fact is a lot of people pn the pro-democracy side don't even like me so painting me as team leader is funny. I may do a lot of the work for this side, but they follow others more than me.

We have 5 parties in Congress literally only 1 party stands for neutrality (or at least voting without orders) and that's us lol

it has been said before but various ppl around, if there are "only" these both sides, we can agree mistakes were made, words have been spilled and weapons been pointed at each other.from my point of view this is ecanada since i became resident. dmv comes and goes, always bitching an whining, rylde gets drunk and sober again. there is only a very small community left, and it will be always like this.

i like the rylde terms because they are funny, they bring a lot of foreign affair desaster, but they are funny. and the "democratic" leaders are lacking on informations. its like ecanada stopped working at all.

Agreed on the freedom-- I don't see it much myself. I'd say Team Rylde is for getting shit done or getting shit on (after the attempt of getting shit done goes south), but that's my opinion.
