Welcome Back Canada

Our longtime allies and friends in Canada are have returned to the map with a stunning string of allied victories in Resistance Wars against the eUK and their PEACE masters. Allied forces from Romania, Spain, Croatia, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, USA, Switzerland and freedom loving Canucks defeated the turncoat Redcoats and the Hun Elite Units sent to whip them into battle. Congratulations Canada!


Continuing Thanks to our Allies and Friends

Thank you to our Fortis/EDEN and unaligned allies that have stood with us in the face of the PEACE onslaught. Together we are strong and together we will turn the tide and overcome.

A Personal Note

This has been a long and difficult war. It has led us to question ourselves deeply. My own resolve has faltered. I appreciate the concern and support offered to me. Resigning as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs was a difficult decision, but a necessary one given limited time I have available and the enormous task to undertake. I have confidence that our Joint Chiefs will continue to put forth the best efforts and will lead our military to ultimate victory. They deserve our respect and support for the responsibility they have agreed to accept.

Obviously I have not retired from eRepublik. Good friends and complete strangers convinced me to continue to work, train and fight. I am glad they did. I will continue to support and defend this eNation. Those of you that are weary of war, that are fatigued and want to lay down your arms, I sympathize. But I encourage you to continue on. There is hope. There is fighting spirit left in the leadership and citizenry of the eUSA. I will stand with you if you will stand with me.

I have always been a fan of the classic Willie and Joe comics of Bill Mauldin. So I leave you with a smile and hope that as bad as things look now, they will get better.
