Birth of a Nation

Day 1,052, 06:54 Published in New Zealand Ireland by Maxie1994

Dear readers

Welcome to the first article of The Millennium Post here in Cyprus. We will aim to try and do these articles weekly, every Friday, however we are writing an article today as today is our nation's birthday.

Please feel free to leave any comments criticisms, suggestions or alternative views in the comments section and I will discuss them in my article on Sunday.

Analysis

As with starting anything from the beginning our first few days are going to be tough, and it is critically vital that we get them right. We must avoid PTO's by uniting as one party in the first few months. I am informed that elections will be held in the forums, so as to avoid the threat of a PTO. Resources are scarce, and in low supply in all regions apart from a few regions where one resource may be as high as medium. I advise everyone, if food supply gets scarce to use any orgs you have abroad to buy food there.

Military & War

We start our new nation bare, and naked, new and fresh, we have no alliances, this is both a gift and a curse. We are blessed with 45 days of safe haven, in this time we must build our military, and decide on alliances, Phoenix, Eden, Other, or Neutral. Whatever we choose, we as a nation must choose together, it will have a massive impact on our time in eCyprus as military is now probably the biggest part of the Erepublik experience. The consequences of our decision will be great, whichever way we go, but we must make sure these consequences are for the betterment of our nation.

Cyprus's Future

Cyprus has a bright future, just a new baby is born with great potential so too is our nation. We have a chance here, a real chance, to make a really great nation on Erepublik, the rest of the world wants us to succeed and all of us want our new nation to succeed. We must all work together, with each other, using all of our combined views and experience and diversity that we gain from coming from many parts of the New World.

In closing, I wish our nation the best, as I am sure you all do, God Bless you all, and God Bless Cyprus.
