Edit: The Croatian MOD has just offered us a q5 hospital and defensive system and 100g to pass through Walonia, Hungary, bidding passes to you.
Edit: To all Congress members, for now let's just vote no on both mpps, even if we wanted them we don't have any gold in the reserves.
To Eastzone and Oliverray if you would like to give us an official explanation for WHY you want an MPP with us that would be really really great, as for now it is just speculation. Also guys, I wasn't kidding about the money, we have .25 gold currently so to sign an mpp with you we'd need at least 100g.
To Heidar, nobody is saying that we wouldn't support and be great full for an MPP with Hungary if Poland attacked, your president would need to resubmit it to us when that happened, at the moment, an MPP with Hungary would ruin our neutrality and thus must be a last resort.
edit: so it seems we are in the path of Croatia's attempt to get to Asia. Belgium is neutral in all of this, but we are also poor. My solution, Croatia, you want us to sign an MPP with Spain so Poland can take a region which you can use to region swap into Asia? make us an offer we accept gold and q5 defense systems. Hungary you want us to sign an MPP with you so you can prevent them from doing so? Beat there offer. Bidding starts at 100 and 1 respectively.
edit: Don't vote on either MPP yet, the president of Spain has proposed an MPP as well do not vote for either one until your last log in tomorrow, something is afoot and we may need one of those in the near future, we just don't know which one yet. If nothing happens before your last log in tomorrow vote no on both.
[previous article] The president of Hungary has proposed an MPP with Belgium with out any sort of discussion on our part of it. It is imperative to VOTE NO, as soon as we have an alliance with Hungary we are no longer neutral, period. If there war was declared on us by an enemy of Hungary then I would be fully in support of this, but until a war declaration is proposed we can not have an MPP with either alliance. Our geography allows us to be cautious as it takes 48 hours between war proposal and the ability to attack Brussels, so if you are a congress member vote no, if you are Oliverray how about heads up about whats going on.

Please argument and provide evidence for the demonic skeems of eSpain and ePoland - the scenario you're discribing is probably not totally impossible, but still is rather improbable. Why is eBelgium suddenly so interesting to EDEN?
@Aldous i may have misspoke, I'm not saying that the would do that without compensating us, but that would be why they'd want the MPP. As for why, Poland is landswaping a bridge for Croatia to get to asia, oddly enough it goes through us as it needs to get between the Netherlands and France.

I don't want to start that discussion of who was helping us to prevent who from taking us over, since there is little unanimity about this issue and all debates end in pointing fingers to the other side. I think it would be save to say that both sides (PHOENIX and EDEN) were protecting their personal interests, caring little for the actual wishes of eBelgium.
I just try to understand, and I could do without black and white accusations.

@Heidar: um the whole point is that we have NOT figured out who we're supporting or what we are doing. Hungary (nor Spain) did not inform us about this until several hours after proposing the MPP so we are all a little confused here.
Um Heidar you may want to tone down the bragging about your votes for BfB , some of us here are in the other Belgian party.

If you sign a MPP with spain and an attack like this one happen, you will be instantly at war with Poland.
I don't know if or how poland will use this war but that doesn't seem really safe.
Confusion is the right discription for what those MPPs will start here, especially in a couple of hours when most eBelgians will wake up.
Heidar, I know what EDEN supporters did here before, I see what they are doing here now, but I also have some clues about why they are doing it and why they have to do it, just as I understand why we have to live with them. And as a side note I would like to remind that eBelgium wouldn't be independent right now without an intervention from some EDEN supporters, and would still be a part of eSpain probably.
Even with your great affords to support true eBelgians you (and we) didn't succeed to establish a majority in Congress, and now we have to keep balancing that fine chord of neutrality, which appearantly few people outside (and inside) eBelgium take seriously. Every once and a while I see that nobody really cares about us and they only support us as long as we can play a favourable role in their personal plans. And I start to fear that whatever choice our Congress will take, it will turn out in someone's benefit, but it never will be ours. This just makes me mad.

Heidar: And now with you trying to call in a debt, telling them they must vote MPP with Hungary, from Belgium how is it that EDEN was in any way wrong to suspect that your support was not without terms? First you say "we did this to be kind to the Belgians, not taking anything in return, putting up no congresspeople." Now you say "we helped you, you must join us." Looks like EDEN was right all along.
