Best Movie(s) in History
______________________________________________________
Thanks guys for all the comments on the last article, it was really interesting and helpful to see your opinions and ideas and yes, I will be looking at some more western schools now haha

In this article I want to see what everyone's favorite movie or movies are. It seems like a pretty straightforward question, so I'll just jump straight into some of mine (:

(Once again, no particular order except for the first one)

1. Star Wars (Specific emphasis on episodes 3-6)
Star Wars is, by far, my favorite movie franchise of all time. For as long as I can remember, and before that even, I've been watching the original trilogy over and over again and went to see each episode in the prequel trilogy opening night over the last decade or so. I love all of the movies and have gotten so deep into the expanded universe it is scary haha.

2. The Shawshank Redemption
Yepp, dat prison movie with Morgan Freeman in it haha. This one happens to be my best friend's favorite movie of all time and I only saw it within the last year. Despite this though I have probably watched it at least 10-15 times and loved every moment of Andy and Red's story.

3. Resident Evil
My love for Resident Evil stems from my love for the games (particularly RE4 😃). So when these movies started coming out I immediately jumped on them. Now, of course I've realized they don't line up to the game's storyline very well, but they are the kind of action packed zombie films I expect from this great franchise.

4. The Blind Side
Not gonna lie, this movie has made me cry multiple times. This movie to me is just one of those sweet classics that come along every now and then and I find myself watching it almost every time I see it on T.V. It also happens to include my favorite poem of all time "The Charge of the Light Brigade" by Alfred Lord Tennyson, so that's a plus too.

5. Aliens and Predator series
Another pair of series that I've been watching since I was young, it was a rare week when one of these movies wasn't played in the Pinkerton household. While I can't honestly say I followed the whole storyline of the Alien series, I loved the movies, greatly enjoyed every aspect of the Predator series, and loved that they were brought together. I mean talk about ultimate hunter vs. hunted situation.

6. The Matrix trilogy
Need I say more? I can't think of a single person I know who does not love the original Matrix. The whole idea of all of humanity living in a computerized world controlled by rogue machines is incredibly interesting to me. Add in the human resistance and Neo, the Chosen One, and you have quite an epic sci-fi action story.

I know there are probably dozens of movies that I have left out of this list, so feel free to remind me of them in the comments! 😃
