Belgian Resistance

Day 1,812, 17:30 Published in United Kingdom South Africa by Freebairn

Belgium. A small northwestern European nation. They have been at war with eUK for some time now. The British Military obviously has the upper hand in this conflict due to higher numbers and more firepower. Belgium is down to their final province, Wallonia, and the British Expeditionary Force means to take it. eBelgium has a series of weak alliances, with Peru, Paraguay, Moldova, and South Korea. All weak nations. But there are problems within occupied Belgium.

The Belgians, though few, fight bitterly and loyally for their captured homeland. Even now, the Belgians are resisting eUK forces within Flanders. They have been fighting the BEF (British Expeditionary Force) in Brussels and Flanders against all odds for days now. There is no doubt in my mind that if eBelgium falls, and Wallonia is captured, then the Belgian citizens will fight to the death resisting the UK. A large question now is, what do we do with the Belgians?

Many have said that over time, forced occupation of Belgium will make the people stop resisting and accept British rule. Others say that eUK needs to pull out of Belgium altogether and make peace. The British Defense Minister, Count Drakula, has stated that it would be hard to fight the Belgians forever, and the BEF needs to be focused on other battles and campaigns. However, I'll let you make up your own opinions on the situation in Belgium.
