Canada needs Lerts. And by a Lert I mean someone who pays attention and follows battle orders. How do you find your battle orders? Subscribe to and read Canadian Defense Updates. Read this on a daily basis and follow the battle orders. Don't waste your fights on the blocking attacks that are being mounted against the Hungarians. There are more important places to use your attacks and Canadian Defense Updates is the way to find out where these locations are.

I'm bringing this up because we are now facing a new threat to our national sovereignty. A few hours ago the Iranian President has proposed a declaration of war against Canada. The expectation is that this attack is part of a coordinated PEACE strategy to attack world wide and prevent the EDEN alliance from coming to each others aid. This assumes of course that the Iranian Congress approves the Declaration of War although that seems likely.

Can we beat Iran? Since an Iranian attack on any of our regions will trigger our MPPs, under normal circumstances this would be a near suicidal move for their Canadian possessions. However, as I have mentioned the prupose of this move seems to be an effort to keep us from blocking the Hungarians from attacking the United States. And of course the consequences should Iran get lucky could be beyond disastrous.

With this in mind I cannot urge you strongly enough to pay attention to Canadian Defense Updates. Try to avoid fighting until your last log-in to eRepublik of the day, and before doing so to check back for the latest orders.
