Remember buying this crappy gum just for the comic? Well at least I got my bazookas in production now that I am strong enough! Feels good to push out these bad boys but I don't want to waste them and I may be experiencing a bug where I can't switch to unarmed combat while in battle.
It doesn't switch at all. I had to put my other weapons on the market to hide them from battle but I can't with bazookas. So is this a bug or is it normal to have to use weapons if you own them? Also I am assuming there will be no fee to pull down my market items when the time comes. If anyone can confirm this that would be lovely.
I'm using chrome so this could be a chrome thing. Which would suck!
Also anyone check out the new eRepublic forums? It's not much at all, already getting spammy. But I imagine they will fix it up soon enough. I put in a suggestion to have private eCountry subforums, what do you all think?

Wish it was a glitch but it isn't.
Basically you can't switch weapons because you don't have another weapon and fighting without a weapon is only allowed if you don't have any weapons, which regrettably includes bazookas.
Most people get around it by not Assembling the Bazookas in your My Places >> Storage >> Collectables. Unassembled parts can just sit in your inventory indefinatly. Bazookas gained from missions/specialoffers typically come preassembled so you have to use them or another weapon.
I remember a glorious time when you could decide how many bazookas you wanted to assemble from your parts stash. Oh what a time that was.
I would imagine everyone ran into this problem once when they first started too, I know i did. Now i just let the parts stack up and then use them when we are fighting for regions. I would imagine you could try to use them for BH medals though if you are into that sorta thing.

Okay thanks for the info. It really does suck that I will be wasting my first set of bazookas but oh well lesson learned.
Forgot to mention earlier I love the MagneDots!! One of these days I am going to get me some of those. I sometimes work with different hi tech supermagnets and coils that cost millions of dollars and are not nearly as cool as those.

LOL, I just dug through some of my old junk and got out my old set of Magnetix, not quite the same (magnets are on plastic sticks that attach to ball bearings) but still kinda fun. Need to start stripping the rare earth magnets out of old hard drives again!

ya what everyone else said and another tip is it's better to fight with lower quality weapons then your hands, plus you don't have to hide them on the market. although that is actually a brilliant way to fight with your hands if you feel like 😛
ask in your MU for weapons, and if you say q4 or lower you will probably get showered in them. i'll send you 100 q3's now
