Romanian-Moldavian unification war ended succesfully on 20.06.2009. at 08:15 erep when Romanian army entered the last Moldovian region of Transnistria. Operation lasted five days and was started on 16.06. by occupation of Southern Besarabia after which Romanian forces turned their attention to Chisinau which was taken on 18.06. Hungary and Ukraine consider this unification asa treath to their vital and strategic interests in the region and that’s why Ukraine started offensive on Northern Besarabia while at the same time a resistance war is started in the same region.

After fierce PEACE offensive against Swedes in Germany, Sweden for the first time organized a counter offensive in the region of Nordjylland which is under Hungarian control. Operation started on 20.06. at 09:00 with heavy bombardment of shore and sea landing of Swedish marines near Skagena. With aerial support Swedes quickly seized control over Fredrikshaven and continued to their main goal Aalborg. But at Aalborg they were met by strong Hungarian resistance and after couple of hours of heavy fighting Swedes decided to withdraw.

Poland started few unsuccesfull attacks on Hungary in Mecklenburg on 18.06. and Saxony on 19.06. but they were unable to surprize fortified Hungarians which easily stopped them and threw them back. At this moment there is another Polish attack active. The attack on Saxony which is considered by Polish government as a training war. Polish government is calling the citizens of Poland to take part in this operation but not to use high quality weapons.

On 20.06.2009. Resistance war was started in the region Jeollanam-do, Japan. Before the unification that region was part of South Korea and RW was started by Koreans who do not approve unity with Japan and believe that South Korea should be independent. Japanese army backed by Korean loyalist militia fought off rebels and seized control over the region. Great number of foreign nationals fought on rebel side and Japanese government believes that the war was financed from abroad.

After liberation of Germany, PEACE started to give control of the regions to German government. Hungary transfered to Germany control over Brandenburg and Schleswig and France gave away Westfallen. Lower Saxony will be given away tomorrow and on 21.06. Germany gave control over Mecklenburg to France. With this move France got a border with Poland and if in the next couple of days Italy gets control over Brandenburg, then we can say that Poland is in big trouble and we can expect another offensive.

On 21.06. at 11:15 erep Hungary started its third offensive on Vojvodina. Armoured group of Hungarian army backed by motorized brigades of Serbian, Indonesian and other PEACE armies broke enemy lines and swiftly took control over large areas all the way to Novi Sad. There they met strong Croatian resistance. After Romanian advance on Hungarian left flank, Croats started counter-offensive which pushed back Hungarians and erected the wall to 200.000. But at the last minutes of battle, Hungarians sent in their elite troops which brought the wall down and by the end of the day Croatian resistance was broken and Hungarians conquered Vojvodina.

United Netherlands armed forces organization

In the past few weeks UNL Ministry of Defense tried to find the best system of defense which would satisfy the needs of United Netherlands. UNL Army went through couple of reorganizations in that period and with the help of generals Jazar and Epix, MoD finally chose a suitable model which is presented in this issue.

Land forces Command
Land forces Command or Generalstaff consists of President, MoD and army generals. They operate divisions and control distribution of weapons and equipment. Under it’s command Generalstaff has 4 brigades: UNL Elite, brigade NL, brigade EN i brigade FR.

UNL Elite
This brigade has only one division but if there is a bigger number of recruits who fulfill the requirements, another division is going to be added. Current division within this brigade is called “Flying Dutchmen” and it consists of strongest and most experienced soldiers of UNL. They are very active and have strenght 12+ and the rank of at least colonel.

Brigades
Every brigade has 4 divisions with 10 men each. Every division has only one CO and he can appoint his deputy within his division. Names of divisions are based on RL unit names of Holland and Belgium army. Divisions in the brigades are filled according to soldiers strenght. The strongest division has colonels with 9+ strenght. The next one has sergeants with 5+ strenght. Third division is the weakest and only requirement is 2+ strenght. Fourth division is reserved for congressmen and other citizens which can’t leave the country.



Commanding officer must fulfill a few requirements:
- must be active on IRC
- must have a rank of liutenent or higher
- must have 6+ strenght

*The newest organization of Dutch armed forces seems like something which was considered very carefully. Organization is pretty simple without complicating the proces of managing and commanding of troops and that is something we can praise. But, it is not very clear if every brigade has it’s own CO or they are lead by Generalstaff generals. We can also notice that brigades are not very compact. We can send one part of brigade abroad and leave one part at home. That gives the posibillity of covering the larger area but in that case brigade looses its firepower. All in all we can say that this is an interesting organization which maybe needs small repairs but her quality is very high.
