BATES for President, UK Reform for Congress!

Today is election day, and we urge ALL citizens of eUK to go and vote!

We here at eUK Telegraph wish to express our support for Alain Bates from The Unity Party as President of eUK, and for UK Reform as the party for Congress. We believe our choices are the best choices for a future prosperous and successful eUK, and that for eUK to progress further it is necessary to democratically remove the PCP from power, as a country cannot progress with a party in power the people are disillusioned with.

That said, as long as the majority of eUK citizens vote today, eUK Telegraph will respect any government that has the majority support. Partial results released at the time of print put KIA Sneak and Dishmcds neck and neck for President with 35 votes each, whilst the PCP is narrowly beating UK Reform 27 votes to 24. However just 6.75% of the total population has yet voted so the result could be very different this afternoon.

As I\'m now well over 20 votes down on both the PCP and UKRP candidates in the presidential standings, I consider recieving congress votes for TUP to be more important than presidential votes. It would probably be the most ridiculous turnaround in eRepublik history if i become president this month from the current position.

Like the very statesmanlike Alain, I think this is turning into an interesting and very close race between Dishmcds and KIA for President.

Make sure your vote counts.

Vote Dishmcds, regardless of your Congressional choice..

I am curious as to why do you think that? I personally believe eUK needs a ruler who can be honest with the people in a free and open debate. Good intentions and positive policies are vital surely? Why would we support someone with bad intentions and negative policies?

First of all honesty doesn\'t make a good president, secondly, all of the presidential candidates have good intentions, thirdly all parties have positive policies.

Several reasons not to vote Alain:

Poor mayor
Never been a minister
Never shows in congress
Is responsible for inactive mayor of London
Unknown on the international scene
