basic introduction to the political parties in Australia
dylan of the darkness
political parties have been asked to answer a list of questions;
1) thats your stand on tax?
2) what are your plains to help the economy in this time of hard ship and market instability?
3) do you think there should be more gov. funded companies?
4) once you get people into the game how do you plain to keep them active? (ie. more then 2clicking)
5) what will you to get the military larger, stronger and more active?
6) if you have got 60ish people in your party since you started why hasnt there been a large increase of people enlisting in the AAR?
7) do you think the army needs more funding?
😎
do you think Australia should formally join eden/broalliance, stay in Sol, form a new alliance with other neutral nationsor join PEACE?
most parties answered and here are there responses
ADSP
answered by John.Smith
1) As low as financially viable while allowing state benefits to low wellness players
2) I believe each ADSP senator has voted to decrease tax.
3) We believe we have reached a good level.
4)We have several gifting programs and activity programs being run to encourage members to sign up on the forum.
5) We support the gifting of weapons to low strength players so as to allow high health and faster rank increases.
6) N/A
7) It needs as much funding as is required to support regular weapon handouts to all branches.
😎
We support our PM's actions.
ANP:
answered by Bass Junkie
1) The lower the better.
2) The ANP plans on minimising government intervention in order to increase the profits of companies, and the pay of citizens. A free market is a prosperous market.
3) No, there should be less. Anything currently done by a GFC could be done by a private company that is contracted to the government, allowing GMs to make profit and the government to get goods at a cheaper rate.
4) Our party is open to all who wish to get involved in politics, and we support the initiatives that are currently in place such as the AAR being open to all, and boot-camp for those who wish to learn more. Our very own Iwarrior is the man behind the action in boot-camp, and I believe he has taken the role of senate school in Mel's absence.
5) We support the funding of the military as one of the only things the government should be funding. In addition to the above, we encourage all our members to get involved in the AAR if they are not already.
6) Most ANP members are part of the military 😛
7) At the moment, I believe the military is funded quite well. If we are directly involved in a war, we will re-evaluate our stance on military funding.
😎
We are in support of the proposal to join EDEN that was put forward by Patti11. This will ensure our protection from the sleeping giant, and grant us access to more regular battles.
AMP
answered by dylan of the darkness
1) there should be enough tax to fund the military and any other government funded projects
2) more GFCs for people to work in and get given products in exchange for their work
3) yes all military personnel should be encouraged to work in the companies. GFC workers will gain free items (Weapons, Gifts, Food) in exchange for their work. They will work minimum wage (or as close to as feasibly possible based on economic analysis) for the goal of producing cheap products for the use of the population
4)increase military funding and more wars to make the game more fun low and middle level players
5) increase funding and give more weapons to low level players
6)all members of AMP will be expected to join the military but it is not required
7) yes so lower level players get more weapons
😎
we support our PM Patti11s proposal to join EDEN
ACP
answered by Dean Kong
1) The ACP support a planned economy, free from the exploitations and economic limitations of the current situation seen now.
2) We believe that communes would be best, free weapons, food, houses, MT's, while
working for minimum wage
3) Depends which government is funding
4) Starting them in our communes so that they have high wellness, access to weapons and can not be worried of dying or maintaining health
5) # The ACP support a strong, well organised Defence Force, ALWAYS separate from the party.
# The ACP believes in strong and good relations with our Indonesian neighbours.
# The ACP supports a democratic military.
6) N/A
7) See question 5
😎
See Question 5, part 2.
AI
Australian independents has no need to answer because all members may have different views
PaPP
answered by
PaPP have refused to answer any questions about policy except to "helping is our policy". all parties are trying to help in there own way their policy is how they go about that.
TBP
answered by TheBlackAdder
1) Income tax should be low and import tax at an appropriate level for each resourse (depending on our regions)
10% is really the maximum we should ever look at except for extreem emergencys
2) Encouraging exports will help, a better worker to company ratio and education also play a big part
3) No, unless a need arises we have more than enough already
4) Active forum community is always great, getting people involved is the best way, more competitions ect as run by DoCS
5) Lower level soldiers should get funding too, but only if they reply to roll calls frequently
7) See 5 mostly, in short yes
😎
If its going to be good for us, I would consider joining EDEN strongly, it gets us out there on the world stage and I think were ready for that. Sol would be nice to stay in, supporting our smaller neighbors in any way we can. A new alliance..I dont think the eWorld is ready for that quite yet. Neutral is out of the question for us now due to recent events. PEACE right now I would say no, Maintaining our relationship with indo is very important, but I dont think PEACE is for us.

"i have tried to keep this article as politically neutral as possible", really? didn't take the time to read the PaPP wiki page though...
PaPP Philosophy
The PaPP focus on young eCitizens and helping them becoming productive members of eAustralia as well as education on the importance of Wellness in the workplace and building Military strength.
The PaPP aspires to pick the best viewpoints from the full range of political philosophies, regardless of whether they be communist, socialist, or capitalist ideologies. We adhere to the belief that we as a people, should strive to be adaptable and willing to transform to new changes in our quest for success. We are bringing a new kind of politics to the new world!
Second!
thats your philosophy not your policies and it still does not answer the questions
Great job, Dylan! I'm glad to see that members of Senate responded to your inquiries and helped create such an informative article. Congratulations! Voted and subbed.
Nice article Dylan. 🙂
thanks binda and dycey
Awesome article, I am interested on if the PaPP really has a policy, besides forcing people to join their party. Paul Hamon, your response?
This is very helpful, getting info on all the parties from one place should help people pick parties close to their own political ideals
I doubt the PaPP forced 160 members to join its party.
no 40 of them were in the party when he PTOed it
Where is Vulpine's party.
@dylan There was 17 members in the eLabour when I started, I recruit 50 plus member before the party election. Everything single person was informed that I would be changing the party name and ideals. They joined of their own volition and 47 of them voted for me in the Party election, knowing exactly what the plan was! There was not PTO of this dead party, it was Patt11 that suggested I take over an inactive party, so I took his advice.
well even if its an inactive party it was still a PTO
luckily eCitizen can make up their own mind.
what your doing by getting heaps of people to join the game is good and i think you should keep doing it but i think if you can even answer 8 questions about party policy you should not have a party and give up your spot to a more deserving party like ACP or AMP
or maybe the AI should be out, because they're not even a party - the name says it all - independents. i'd love to see the ACP and AMP in list... but i guess their party needs to get motivated and find members.
AI is good because it lets people who havw there own policies run for senate
I'm new and missed all the excitement of the last invasion but with all this bickering going on i reckon were in desperate need of a good war.
Nice article - thanks for this info.
@Paul Hamon - why are you crying this is not neutral, when the party you represent has chosen not to respond? I'm sure that if a PaPP member answered the questions, it would be included in here as swiftly as possible.
So don't cry foul because Dylan cannot read your, or anyone else from PaPP's, mind to complete the questions for you.
As I have demonstrated earlier, your policy on 'helping people' could both mean that taxes should be raised and lowered. A similar argument could be made for each other question. We don't know what your party stands for unless you tell us. I don't see how you don't understand that.
good stuff, thanks.
Excellent article, Will help me a great deal when I need to choose what party I will be joining when I am able.
Hey Paul, want some Kool-Aid for your cult?
HAHA goodtimes hey?
Ahh some grammar would be nice... And maybe some randomly balded words...
Good stuff. Sticky / pin this in the forums or something.
@sir david newton i had no control over the grammar of the answers because if i changed any think (including grammar) it would not be a direct quot from the responder
