Join the new world

Greetings to all eAustralians,

I have decided that it is time to throw my hat in the ring, and thus I will be running for the position of Senator in Queensland. I shall be running under the banner of the Australian National Party banner, a party of which I have been a loyal member for close to a year.

First, a bit about myself. I have been a citizen of eAustralia for my entire eLife, which is now approaching a year in length. I am currently the Commanding Officer of Alpha Squad in the eAustralian Army Reserves, and I have been a member of the eAustralian military for many months now. I have also been a Cabinet Intern in Xavier Griffith's Cabinet for the past two months, so I have a fair understanding of how our Government works. I am also currently a Council Member in the ANP.

Policies

Military
I believe that the military should be controlled by, but separate from, the government. Marshalls should not be appointed from term to term, but should stay where they are until they no longer want or are deemed unsuitable for the job.

Foreign Affairs
Ahh, the eternal question, EDEN or Brolliance? Frankly, I don't mind which way, but I believe that we should try to stay with both. I also believe that we should foster a strong relationship with our close neighbours, especially eSouth Africa.

Industry and Government Funded Companies (GFCs)
Personally, I believe that GFCs have a place in our economy, but their main application should be as a company in which military personnel can work at and be fired at will. They should only be used to provide skill 0 jobs to newbies when there are no other skill 0 jobs available for a protracted amount of time.
