Back in town...

Day 1,336, 13:13 Published in Singapore Singapore by Parrington

I'm aware it's been a while...

I know I quit last time without ever really saying goodbye, so I'll say that now.

Goodbye eSingapore!!!

But hey, that's a bit late, as I've just returned.
But it's the thought that counts.

I realise that to all the people who have joined since I quit, the above seems utterly crazy. If you are one of those people, then allow me to introduce myself.

Hi, I'm Parrington.

I'm utterly crazy.

There, introduction over.

The point is, I'm back. But I'm not back to 2-click or anything like that. I'm back to be involved. Having said that, I'm not planning in any way shape or form to be seeking elected office at this moment in time. I think eSingapore has had enough of the politician Parrington for a while. Maybe the politician in me will make a comeback one day, but it won't be in the near future and it'll be in a very different format to that which has gone before.

Let me tell you what I'm planning.

The plan

I want to do what I'm best at. That is, media. I hope even my critics would say that I know how to write a good article. That's what probably got me elected in the first place. Much as I know that 'style over substance' isn't a great message, I also know that to get in a position from which you can deliver substance, you need a bit of style and presentation. That is something I can provide. So, I'm looking for a party, candidate, or even an ordinary citizen to work with to assist with media and communications.

I also have another Erepublik passion...

The other Erepublik passion

Parrington looking passionate...

I've always been a big believer in workers' rights. I'll also be looking to set up a citizen problems centre, where people's issues and problems can be dealt with in a way that encourages others to come forward and sort out their problems. I'll be looking to get government support for this project as well.

Anyways, nice to be back, so until next time,

Stay safe Singapore!
