Back in Black (Yeah, I just ripped you off AC/DC)

Day 391, 14:20 Published in USA USA by Took Lowind

It's been a long time, eRepublik. A very long time. I'd say a lot of you now a days don't know who I am (which I would expect) Well, I'd first like to introduce/ re-introduce myself. My name is Took Lowind and I once did some wacky stuff in this game. I'm not really going to talk about the wacky stuff right now because it's pretty damn unimportant because I did it a long time ago and it's all pretty irrelevant as of now. If anyone really cares, check out my wiki page; it's still there.

Anyways, I'm back and I'm probably here to stay (Hoorah!) My main reason for leaving was that this game became as boring as hell to me, and now I'm hoping this game isn't as boring as hell. Ok, now I'm rambling.

My main reason that I'm writing this article is because a certain GenoGaron (author of Propaganda Now! READ IT) reminded me of something that I planned on starting in my younger days. This being the Society of Excellence in the Media. It was something that I always wanted to start, but I never really got around to starting it considering that I was busy with some assorted work in our government. Now that I have absolutely no relevance in this game, it's time to start it up.

Essentially, the Society of Excellence in the Media is a group of influential (or in my case, used to be influential) writers who look to improve the quality of articles in the media. My plans are to give out a weekly, monthly, quarter year, half-year, and full year award. All of these awards will come with a monetary prize. I'm hoping to instill more culture in e-USA, so I hope that winning these awards will become a great honor, and something for people to look forward to.

Also, I plan on assigning members of the Society weekly editorials about whatever they wish to write about (economics, stories, politics, military, etc.) I'm hoping this can become a huge part of e-USA culture.

If you are interested in joining the Society, please send me a PM or leave a comment asking to join. I (or others) will judge your literary merits and send you a formal invitation if we feel like you would fit in with the Society. I also plan about establishing an IRC room, so I will contact you all about that.

Glad to be back! Subscribe please!
