بعض الاحصائيات قبل كأس الأمم الأفريقية لكرة القدم رقم 32
البطولة الثالثة على العالم بعد كأس العالم وكأس الأمم الأوروبية
أنشأت هذه البطولة سنة 1957 وكانت أول دولة تستضيفها السودان.
والدولة صاحبة الرقم القياسي في عدد مرات الفوز بها هي مصر برصيد سبع بطولات، تليها الكاميرون بخمس بطولات وحاملة اخر بطولة عام 2017.

وتأتي مصر على رأس قوائم كثيرة
من حيث مرات المشاركة بالبطولة بعدد 23 مشاركه
وعدد الفوز بالبطولة برصيد 7 القاب
وايضا عدد المباريات النهائية برصيد 9 مباريات
وايضا استضافة البطولة برصيد 5 بطولات
واكثر فوزا بعدد مباريات 64 مباراة
واكثر اهداف بعدد 159 هدف
الان البطولة الحالية 2019 تستضيفها مصر ويأمل المصريون بالتتويج بها
