Aussie glory is the Knighthawk story

Over the past two days since I posted the end of term report on behalf of the Knighthawks council I have been messaged by many of my fellow members encouraging me to run for party president and offering their support for my nomination.

i have nominated in the game and announce that I'm in the race.

In the past month we have grown the party up from nearly 5th spot to 3rd. Coordinated military action has provided the opportunity to have our first congress in months. We polled well ahead of the 2nd and 3rd spot parties at the time and achieved election of two out of ten. Building friendships not just a friends list has been a mission for every active Knighthawk. We have concentrated on a strong and positive media attitude to promote the party to the country.

In congress we have been watchful and supportive on the proposals put forward by both prime ministers throughout the congress term but we have been no yes people. If there was an issue we said so but we did it in a way that respected the system of government. We supported the prime ministers-presidents in principle and stood united to keep the country moving on MPPs and other props.

Yes we were the only major party without a minister in the Holmes government but that hasn't stopped a productive partnership directly with the prime minister. it's my goal to build on that if i am chosen and provide the balance the system needs.

in previous times I was a cabinet minister with many tasks to perform and I know how demanding the job can be. If chosen i accept the role as a major party leader to do what I can to help if asked to pitch in. My key interests are foreign affairs and media and I look forward to talking with members about ways we can further the Knighthawk cause of fighting for EAustralia not just here at home but around the globe.
