Attack Canada!

Could somebody please explain what our strategy is, at present? Plaudits to everyone for getting us to where we are now but we seem to have lost our perspective all of a sudden.

We have made peace with Ireland and have won our southern provinces back from France. Long term we cannot win against France. This is especially true now that Serbia appears to have lost interest, having preoccupations elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Canada is cut off from it's UK provinces. We should be looking to make peace with France, whilst we still have bargaining chips. That would leave us with the isolated Canadian provinces to deal with. It would be hard work but we should be able to mop them up if our effort is sustained.

Can anyone explain why this isn't happening? Have dreams of glory, beyond our means, got in the way of reality, yet again?

Well you see, you have no bargaining power. I mean, you did when you had Picardy and Slovenia/Serbia were blowing into France. But now that the invasion has failed due to the massive TEDEN backlash, France will likely seek to NE you again and attempt a re-invasion. It is dubious how successful a defense of the eUK would be. With most every ONE member experiencing problems the alliance may not be able to spare enough aid to defeat your enemies.

However, I doubt the eUK will ever be without a Congress again. The time when people were able to just crush any resistance are over, and it looks like the eUK will eventually rise again. Eventaully.

I have to say I totally agree with this article!!
As one of our nearest neighbour constant fighting and baiting of France is only weakening us and them. We should be leaving them be and concentrating on our own ground.
Over confidence and inflated ego's will leave us divided and weakened certainly won't help us or France.

Canada is not cut off from the East Midlands.

And if I were CP, I would be looking at the ways I can exploit that peace treaty.

I see where you're coming from however I am more inclined in taking back are last two regions from the French and then making a peace treaty with them
