ATLANTIS Treaty - Securing Our Country

Day 278, 17:06 Published in USA USA by Archibald

We have signed on to a new agreement - the ATLANTIS Treaty - that formalizes our alliance with the countries of the UK, Sweden, Romania, Spain, Norway, Argentina, and Brazil. This is a list of the founding members, and we will continue to work to add more nations. The USA has seen nothing but growth in strength lately, and this alliance with several other Top 5 nations will place us in a secure position for the forseeable future. This treaty has been in development for a long time, and I personally am very excited about it.

Mexico vs. Spain

The Mexican Congress contacted me a few days ago requesting annexation from either the USA or Spain, preferably the USA. They hoped to do this before the next general elections. I told them that the USA would not do that and that I wished Mexico would remain independent, but also that I understood if they wanted to pursue this. I have always supported an independent Mexico, but I will not go against the wishes of the Mexican people to achieve this. The USA is officially neutral in this conflict. Spain is an ally of our country that we already share borders with, so I see no harm that can come from this to our nation. I have offered continuing support to the people of Mexico no matter what banner they are under, and also promised to welcome them with open arms if any of them would like to move to another country.
