Asia First
Dokomo
These are the words that I define my foreign relations outlook. Our strategic alliances are good, and we are right to defend nations in other areas of the world, but Asia more than any other place holds a special spot in my heart. Why?
The other nations in Asia; Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India, China, Phillipines, Australia and Japan share much in common. For the most part we are small to medium nations who have been shoved around a lot. Some have been occupied, some have been threatened, but we all know that being big leads to big mistakes.
Through the past 2 months I have tried to ensure that Japan acted in the interests of Asia. We should be proud for committing our resources to the defense of Malaysia. We should be proud of standing up to the US in Kyushu and settling things our way. We should be proud for taking a stand to free India and China. But none of that matters unless we STAY proud and continue to think of Asia as a whole.
To that end, we need to not only rejoin Sol but bring the member nations in tighter to bind us in a unity of purpose, the mutual defense and common history we share. This is the major goal I want to work for if re-elected. There are still things to be done in the world, China is not fully free yet. Once it is, the United States must amicably resolve it's position in Asia, hopefully leaving all together. The Korean problem also must be resolved both North and South. With the nations of Sol acting together I think Asia can deal with these problems on it's own though, without the interventions of the US, Hungary, or Serbia.
But these challenges won't be met by armed neutrality. We have to work with other nations and we have to take stands to see our ideals realized. It takes more than a desire to see Japan safe, but to see us in a safe environment. As the first Hungarian President Lajos Kossuth said “Neutrality, as a lasting principle, is an evidence of weakness”. Japan will only be strong by a strong belief in our ideals, our friends, and our people. It will take guts.

kill for dokomo!
Wait wait wait, are you really quoting Kossuth? How come?
BTW I remember you as a supporter of our neutrality. What happened?
Here here!
Indeed, Hungarians can be wise. And as I state in the debate, Neutrality is more than just not taking sides. You need conviction to back it up. Our Righteous Nation ideals demanded that we speak out against what was going on in China and India. The President and Congress agreed to do something so that we would not end up as Hungary's eternal guardian. Refusing to be a pawn in people's games is true neutrality.
vote hard
The Kyushu Lion has roared.
Asia first!
I approve of this message.
I fail to see how the first 3 paragraphs lead to the conclusion that we should join an oligarical, top down, centralized alliance such as Sol.
Utterly baffled.
Dokomo who or what do you consider to be Asia ? Country names or people living in the Asian continent ?
@Origineel
He must be mistaking Asia for eAmerica. You know how the eAmerican education goes.
Akki, that was uncalled for.
No.
Don't worry, KITA Ikki is an American living in Taiwan, so it's a choice between American PTO or American/Chinese PTO. JAPAN DECIDES.
I thought KITA was Japanese?
Nope hes an American, we're everywhere mwahahaha

I'm having trouble understanding the lame opposition argument this time around. Are you guys seriously trying to say that all the eNations he mentioned aren't actually eAsian unless they all have only RL Asians living there?
Seriously, if you all are going to borrow points from each other to try and make the best effort to make Dokomo look bad, don't borrow points from Max Hardcore.
Also, voted, for great justice.
Americans and Eastern Europeans run this game
Voted and approved.
Japan should not stand alone, secure in self-Righteousness, as our Asian neighbours are invaded and occupied.
The outrage at having to do without one of our regions for 3 days, when the exchange is that our friends see their occupiers removed, demonstrates a supremely egoistical and short sighted view on geopolitics.
VOTED ~ SUB
Infact it's an american PTO nomatter who you vote for!!111111one1eleven Where are those serb trolls when we need them?
Americans PTOing Americans PTOing Japan
Ori and Akki, if you don't have anything intelligent to say, it's best to say nothing at all.
Lets hope for everyone that eJapan makes the well informed choice today.
I support Dokomo, the only TRULY nonpartizan candidate we have running this term.
@Danny more and Reverend Sean: Just because Akki made a joke after i asked a serious question, doesn't mean i agree with him or anything. Go Fail troll somewhere else.
@Dokomo: You haven't answered my question yet.
Sorry, I put Japan first. I just assumed that's what our main goal should be.... You know... Our country...
>>@Danny more and Reverend Sean: Just because Akki made a joke after i asked a serious question, doesn't mean i agree with him or anything. Go Fail troll somewhere else.
My comment was really directed more at Akki than you. Being that the ignorant one-liner followed by failure to stick around and defend his point (and where his little toadie over there thefallenmage usually repeats his thought with an equally unintelligent one-liner) is classic Akki material, it's hard to tell when he's actually joking about anything or not.
But while we're on the subject of you, Ori, how would you answer that question? How could either choice you gave be wrong?
Walorm put his friends first, thats why he stole the bank account. But I'm glad to see he's reconciled his hatred towards Dokomo
No, you put yourself first. Stealing from the people of Japan does not serve their interests, it only serves your's.
>>Sorry, I put Japan first. I just assumed that's what our main goal should be.... You know... Our country...
lolololololololol
@Danny Morte: The troll part was directed for Reverend Sean.
But to answer you question. If Dokomo would say the People, then i dont see how he helped the Russians living in Asia or the Indonesians. Which make up for more than 50% of the Asian population. So his statement that he has been doing things for the Whole of Asia doesn't seem to be right.
Russia? Indonesia?
...I thought they were in Europe. ಠ_ಠ
>siberia
ಠ_ಠ
Why should Dokomo assist the people in Asia that are encroaching on foreign soil? Indonesia and Russia aren't having their lands being taken over by invaders. I think they're fine for the time being, Orig.
Dokomo's foreign policy is to defend the security of Asia as a whole. Allowing foreign superpowers (i.e. eHungary and eIran) to oppress our neighbors and friends would be detrimental to the security of all of Asia (except maybe those who are in Phoenix), which includes eJapan.
eRussia and eIndonesia are excluded in this case because they don't need regional security. They have Phoenix to back up (and hand down) whatever conquest whim they might feel necessary. At least, that's the way I see it.
You forgot Iran in Asia and Pakistan too...fool.
Nobody forgot that Iran is in Asia....in fact, they're all over Asia.
Fool.
@Danny: Dokomo said something else.
"Through the past 2 months I have tried to ensure that Japan acted in the interests of Asia"
"But none of that matters unless we STAY proud and continue to think of Asia as a whole."
So my question was, who or what does Dokomo see as Asia.
bullshit!!
you opened eUSA to eAsia and now you proud of it?
