eWorld Congress Elections

Yesterdays Congress elections saw yet another drop across the eWorld in votes cast, with only a handful of eNations (mostly via PTO attempts) experiencing an increase in total votes cast. This is most likely linked to frustration players are experiencing with modifications to the game by the Admin rather than the political situation in most eNations. Below is a brief description of the PTO/ATO successes and failures resulting from yesterday’s elections. In total this Newspaper was aware of 14 PTO attempts, and in 12 of those elections, voter turnout increased significantly.

Below is an update on the Political Take-Over (PTO) attempts in the eNations this newspaper was aware of:

eAustralia: Still PTOed; the Poison and Perish Party (eIndoneasian PTOers) actually increased its hold, winning 80% of the Congress seats (up from 60% last month)

eBolivia: PTOed; the Pindonga Nacionalista (eArgentina PTOers) and their allied parties secured over 50% of the Congress seats.

eBosnia and Herzegovina: Somewhat PTOed; the Demokratska Stranka Srpske (eSerbian PTOers) won 50% of the Congress seats. In the recent COuntry President Election, Amir M, was able to break the PTO, however with 50% of congress still PTOed it will be hard to advance an agenda.

eCzech Republik: Not PTOe😛 The czech COmmunist and Socialist parties retained over 50% of Congressional seats.

eDenmark: Not PTOe😛 Nationalist Great Two Fish Ovens and HrBjorn Rocks Parties won 56% of the vote. This congressional election added to the recent impeachment of the PTOing Country President, means that eDenmark has broke the PTO attempts for now.

eIndia: Not PTOe😛 the India Nationalist parties have a super majority of seats. The lack of PTO attempts has been hailed by the eNations President as a victory of eIndia’s neutral foreign policy.

eJapan: Not PTOe😛 the eSOS Brigade and their allied parties held of an eIndonesian led PTO, securing 22 of the eNations 40 Congress seats.

eMalaysia: Not PTOe😛 the Pakatan Rakyat leads a majority non PTOed Congress against the Djozikeist Church of Malaysia (eSerbian PTOers) 40% control of seats. The election marks the first time eMalaysia has broken its eSerbian PTO in months. It is speculated that he drop in votes for the PTOers is most likely tied to the surge in votes for the PTO in eAustralia.

ePeru: PTOe😛 The Partido de Inmigrantes and its allied parties (ePolish led) picked up 60% of the seats down from 90% last month, due to eBrazil and eArgentina aiding the Movimiento Anti-TO PERU UNIDO Party.

ePhillippines: Not PTOe😛 the Bayanihan Party leads a super majority eFilipino Congress.

eSingapore: Not PTOe😛 a supra-majority of RL eSingaporees were elected to the 10 person Congress.

eSouth Africa: Still PTOe😛 the Progressive Party South Africa (eHungarian led PTOers) secured a narrow victory over the ATO resistence, picking up 50% of the Congress seats. (editors note: the ATO resistance party the United Democratic Alliance has one of the best Party logos I have ever seen)

eThailan😛 Still PTOe😛 The PTOing Thai Girl Party and their sister parties picked up a supra-majority of the votes cast. The upcoming Country Presidential elections may be interesting as rumors are abound that current CP, Luthfisnet, has fallen out of favour with the eIndonesian PTOing brass.

eUkraine: Not PTOe😛 the Independent Ukraine Party and its sister parties picked up 55% of the vote.

eVenezuela: Not PTOe😛 the Democracia Proactiva and Comando Nacional Democratico parties picked up 65% of Congress seats.

eJapan

The Country President of eJapan, Sugawara Michizane, was impeached yesterday. According to members of his cabinet and his current Avatar the CP simply went “crazy”, declaring martial law, changing government org passwords and dissolving his cabinet.

The timing of the now impeached CP was very poor for the eNation who was in the midst of fighting off an eIndonesian led PTO attempt on their congress. The new CP of eJapan is apparently not currently active, leaving the eNation’s Government in a tough situation until the next CP elections on October 5th.

eCanadian Elections

Yesterday’s elections in eCanada saw an unusually high number of votes deleted by the admin during the election review period. In total Candidates lost more than 50 votes, with the Canadian Empire Party(CEP) loosing over 35 of their total votes case. The individual hardest hit by the adjustment was the CEP candidate in Ontario, Bruck.

While it is unclear as to who was behind this mass multi-vote strategy, the oddity is that the candidate receiving the most multi votes, Bruck, did not require the additional illegal votes as he had easily secured a Congress seat early on in voting, consistently leading in the overall vote count.

CEP’s voting coordinator Wes Lewis categorically denied accusations of him attempting to rig the election. Lewis argued that "the real culprit of the attempted election-rigging to be now impeached (in large part due to Lewis’s actions as deputy attorney general) eCanadian President Rolo Tahmasee" who may have had the motivation to undermine his former political party (CEP) and its leadership including Lewis.

In addition to these problems, a single eIndonesian PTOer managed to secure a candidate seat in the Congress elections for the Canadian Progressive Front (CPF) without the Party President's notice until candidates were locked in. The eCanadian Armed Forces and the other parties were able to block the candidate's election through submitting multiple tickets to the Admin reporting multi-account voting.
