I would like to take this time to honor this week's officer of the week!!



General Zach Goldsmith, Commanding Officer of Boot Camp, has been selected by his peers and fellow officers as this week's officer of the week.

For those of you that have gone through the Boot Camp process, you are all very well aware of who Zach is. For months, Zach has overseen day to day activities within the Boot Camp branch. His approach is efficient, effective, and professional.

Zach helps all soldiers get through Boot Camp in a timely matter, and assists them with completing the basic requirements for graduating Boot Camp.

Within the last couple of weeks, Zach has redeveloped the Arm America system, implementing a fully hosted, web portal for arm america admins and citizens alike. Although there were some initial technical difficulties, those issues how now been resolved, and Zach has made upgrades to the site. For example, the request form can now be translated into any language.

These are just a small snapshot of what Zach does, and what Zach has brought, not only to the USAF and Boot Camp, but to our entire nation.

I am proud to call him a fellow general, and, my brother!
