Are you sorry?
Christopher Moe
I am addressing you, the people of Norway, today because as you should know the congress election is just a few days away.
As the current situation is, there is no indication that the Swedish government will have a stable region during the election time, so that we can have the election.
A few days ago they justified this “act of friendship” because they didn’t trust us. If we would have a congress it would give us the opportunity to sign MPP’s. What they didn’t know at that time was that i alone can do this. I have signed with Greece and Moldova, and more might come up in the future.
After the Swedish government found out that i have absolute power over Norway they quickly changed their story to: It’s because you ( Christopher Moe) trolled our forums. Konkel said that it would be an apology from Norway and Lonestar said that it would be an apology from me.
I find this “reason” dumb, plane dumb.
To me it seams like that “friendship” with Sweden will only come at their premises.
Sure... Sweden will be friends with Norway, but then Norway will have to do this first, etc.
Is this really the way to start diplomatic talks with another nation?
An apology by definition: An acknowledgment expressing regret or asking pardon for a fault or offense.
But what have we done wrong to them?
What have we done to Sweden that they haven’t done to us?
If we ask for forgiveness, then we also admit that what we are doing/did was wrong.
But was it?
Did Sweden really get offended?
Or is it only their government?
Or maybe... They didn't get offended at all. Maybe they just want to show the world that we are just the most pathetic group of people that must beg their enemy to grant them something that Sweden don’t need at all.
But why am i writing this article, you ask....
Well it’s because i need you opinion on this matter. The people i have asked says: NO. But i need more than that. I want every person with a Norwegian citizenship to say their matter on this, because i know what i feel about this situation, but then again, what i think don’t matter.
What we need to remember is that this is only the start. Now it’s an apology, but their next government might demand that we leave Eden.
A congress last one month. What do you really think will happen next month?
Remember this, every proposition they have come up with always start with: What can Norway do for Sweden. They want an apology. They don’t want us to RW Trøndelag and Nord-Norge. They want us to leave Eden etc. What’s next? i don’t know, maybe they will demand : If Norway wants to have an congress, then Norway must pay us 5 gold for every congressman that gets elected. And were do they go from there?
I know that their demands will only get worse with time, because it’s so clear to me that they only look at us friends as long as we are giving in to their demands.
I could spend over a month writhing this article and analyse everything in their demand, what the future might look like and of course i could analyse their argument and reasons in depth. But that would take allot of time, and they want an answer by tomorrow.
But i want you to think about this before you give me your answer on this situation, and that is: If you hate Sweden now, do you think that it would change after we give then an apology? Or would it make you more angry?
I feel that i have done nothing wrong, do you Norway?

thumbs up
We want an apology since we don't want to have any kind of friendship with someone that insults us.... is that so hard to understand. If Norway ( =Moe) were ready to start new with our friendship and our relation you should be able to ask for our forgiveness and let us (Sweden and Norway) start once again without any problems still laying between us.
The great and mighty Norway demands friendship from Sweden!
Maybe it's time your country wised up and opened it's eyes. Norway is sort of powerless. But instead you troll our forums and expect us to treat you as equals and negotiate with you?
Stop being cocky and accept defeat. Accept the fact that peace and friendship will come on the victors terms. Or just keep doing whatever the hell it is your doing now, seems like it's working reeeaaaal good.
Basjgluffsaren, we don't demand anything.
We did have a mutual demand between us but Sweden choosed to step away from Norway. Why? How could Sweden be so fake? Was it because we were loosing citezens??
We're only mad at you because Sweden has done some unacceptable stuff to Norway
We want peace! But we can't have peace unless both parts apologies to eachother.
This should explain your problems too Lonestar

I am with Stakerauo, Norway has only made the grievances to Sweden after being betrayed, while we may not win our land back without alot of help. Our will is not something that they can take. I have no issues outside of that with Sweden and would honor peace, but I dont agree with apologizing unless it was mutual for both sides issues with the other.
Norway is clearly the biggest threat Sweden has ever faced. It was nearly wiped away by our arrogant imperialistic rhetoric and in return had no choice but to occupy us, in the name of peace. The occupation will make us realise the true folly of this kind of misquided thinking. I'm really sorry that we hurt your feelings Sweden, I hope that someday you can forgive us of the verbal atrocities we have committed against your righteous nation.
Ill think that whatever u decide to do Moe it wont make a big difference in our relation to eSweden.
I guess eSweden is bored. They want to see more action in their gaming, but they are to weak to go east or south. The only option they got is to bully Norway to keep their citizens occupied so they dont leave eSweden.
Thihi. It's like two teenage BFF's getting bitchy over each other because of some dude.
That's you guys, Sweden and Norway. It's funny.
