America, You Were Warned

Only 4 days ago, I (along with a massive chorus of others) warned you all that if we were to lose this battle in Upper Normandy, we would likely lose our bonuses.

That was the time for us to come together.

Sadly, we lost.

And now America finds itself in a wounded alliance, floundering to find a direction, and losing its bonuses.

What can be done?

First - Win in Aquitaine. In order to do this, we will have to reverse the trend that has so obviously developed since the new Battle Module - we will need to win Division 2 and Division 3 battles. If you are in Division 2 or 3, for the love of pete spend it all now.

Go to (irc://irc.rizon.net/defense), ie. #defense or #defense and ask for supplies.
If you don't IRC, then fill in this form NOW and FIGHT.
Fill out the Tank up to Rank up form.
Beg for supplies via shout.
But FIGHT IN AQUITAINE, especially if you are Division 2 or Division 3.

Second - America MUST solve its Alliance woes NOW. We have known about Brazil's leaving Terra for 8 days now. 8 days in this game is an eternity. Yet nothing has been done to mitigate the loss of Brazil. Aquitaine is the tip of the iceberg. If we lose this today, there is NO REASON TO EXPECT us to win the next critical battle against Poland unless SOMETHING CHANGES.

Pressure your Congressman to find a position on Alliance Realignment.
Pressure the White House to commit to a solution.
And FIGHT IN AQUITAINE.

Third - Prepare for the loss of our bonuses, one by inevitable one. If you are in a Military Unit which communes and provides supplies, know this - your supplies are about to be reduced unless we win Aquitaine. You've been producing 20 tanks per day by your labor, most of which you get back. Tomorrow you will be producing 18, or 16, or 14... or 10 ("tomorrow" figuratively). You do the math - you won't be getting tomorrow what you are getting today.

Folks, if we do not win in Aquitaine today, it is conceivable that we could be wiped before the end of August.
