Richardson, Emerick Virtually Tied For Aug. 5 Election
APS's first August 5 Presidential election poll is in. Incumbent Harrison Richardson holds a statistically insignificant 3% lead over possible challenger Emerick. APS did not officially release poll numbers prior to the July 5 election, but our unofficial polls showed the race being almost as tight as this poll. As released yesterday by APS, President Richardson's approval rating is just below 50%, with a large portion of Americans unsure, and a decent amount disapproving.

It would appear as though the battle lines drawn prior to the July 5 contest are still holding. Potential challengers Claire Littleton and Aren Perry recieved little support from respondents.

Among CVP members only, Ajay Bruno's ratings were just as dismal. Only 10% of Conservatives had a favorable view of him, 30% viewing him unfavorably, and the vast majority responding "Unsure/No Answer."

Americans Think Scrabman Will Be Remembered As A Good President
Former President Scrabman, who garnered the highest average approval rating of any APS-tracked president, will be remembered as a "great president who accomplished much", according to the American people. A vast majority, three quarters of all respondents, think that Scrabman will be remembered as a decent or better president in eUS history. 11% think he will go down as the greatest president ever, 33% think he will be seen as a great president, and only 2% think Scrabman will be remembered as the worst president ever. 7% were unsure or had no answer.
