APF Party News; PP Primary Results

Day 936, 15:50 Published in USA USA by APF Communications

The AFP is very active now. Internally, we just appointed a new party board with several younger players promoted to Directorships and Board membership. The party has also held a primary to choose the person the Board and Party are endorsing for Party President. By focusing our votes on the candidate already selected by the membership, we can afford to send votes to other parties that may be in danger of a PTO. Externally, we are preparing for Congressional elections.

Internal APF Developments

Joe Newton is the Party's selection for the next Party President. Joe is well experienced in eUS and USWP/APF political positions and also has substantial military experience, useful in a position requiring cooperation with the military and CIA to prevent PTOs during Congressional elections. His Platform calls for improving the programs we have begun and restructuring some of them to enable them to do their jobs better.

We ask all APF members to vote for Newton. If our party is not a PTO target, hold your vote in case they are needed to help other parties fight PTOs.

Earlier this month five board members and party leaders resigned. This gave Stormin and remaining Board members an opportunity to renew the board. Two newer players, each of whom garnered the Board's attention through their hard and consistent work on the mass messaging team, received promotions to a Directorship and to the Board. Sunnygyrl315 became Director of Retention and Recruitment. Dan Heylin, who served not only on the mass messaging team, but also as a senior officer in the APF militia, became Director of Elections. Deputy Chief of Staff is not a Board position, but is nevertheless an important leadership position. Marxus, another dedicated mass messenger was appointed to that position, putting him in a key leadership position.

All party members persuaded that party leaders care only about keeping their own power and do not care about members not in the leadership should note that dedicated service to the party does allow you to advance. One of the APF's strong commitments is to encourage young members to become party leaders.

Other new appointments to the second APF Board were LexLuthor as Chief of Staff; Bradley Reala as Legal Director, and Aersidius as Congressional Whip. To provide experience and continuity to the board, Joe DaSmoe, seeker1, LaurenBug and Walter Joseph Kovacs, and, of course Stormin, our PP, kept their board positions.

New Contests

We want to encourage AFP members to become writers. The R&R Department has begun a new contest to encourage writing. The contest will award 2 Gold to the grand prize winner and a Q1 house to the second place winner. All you have to do is submit an article about the APF. Send a poem, an interview, an analysis of APF politics or anything else dealing with some aspect of the APF. Sunnygryl315 and one of her assistants will evaluate the submissions and award the prizes.

Additional contests can be found on the APF Forums, (You must register on the forum to get access.)
