Join the new world

Zu allererst, möchte ich mich bei allen bedanken, die sich gestern zur Wahlurne begeben haben und ihre Stimme für mich abgegeben haben. Dieses Vertrauensbekenntnis ist eine Ehre für mich und ich hoffe ich kann euren Erwartungen für den kommenden Monat entsprechen.

Der Übergangsprozess von der alten zur neuer Regierung verlief flüssig. Wie in meinem vorherigen Artikel erwähnt, werde ich versuchen, neue Personen in die Regierung zu integrieren um sie somit auf längerer Basis für großere Rollen vorzubereiten. Nur so, kann der Wachstum unseres Landes langfristig garantiert werden.

Kommunikation

Um die Kommunikation zwischen Regierung und Volk zu erhöhen, führe ich eine österreichische ‘Weiße Pinnwand’ ein. Warum bloß diese Bezeichnung? Man kennt solche Pinnwände aus diversen Seminaren und Meetings, auf denen man üblicherweise die wichtigsten Schlagwörter und Infos hinschreibt, um alle im Raum kurz und prägnant auf den neuesten Stand zu bringen. Google Docs bietet eine digitale Plattform für so eine Pinnwan😛 Auf diese ‘White Board’ werden wir einfache Updates veröffentlichen, die dann später auf einen vollständigen Artikel expandiert werden können. Wer also öfter ein Auge auf diese Pinnwand wirft, kann somit die Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit und Pläne der Regierung nachvollziehen und beobachten. Hier ist der Link zur White Board. Das ist nur einer von vielen Gründen uns im IRC besuchen zu kommen und ich würde mich tierisch freuen, noch mehr von euch dort zu sehen! Man kann über viele verschiedenen Themen quatschen, auch ab und zu einen guten Witz reißen und sich mit anderen Personen anfreunden!

Die heutigen Befehle

Um die externe Kommunikation nicht außer Acht zu lassen, haben wir heute die ersten militärischen Befehle für diesen Monat veröffentlicht (hier einsehbar). Unsere derzeitige Priorität gilt der Hilfe von Ungarn in ihrem Krieg gegen Rumänien in Central Hungary. Bitte kämpft fleißig für unseren Bündnispartner Ungarn, wenn ihr könnt. Ein MPP mit ihnen ist übrigens auch bald auf dem Wege.

Internationale Politik

In den kommenden Tagen werden die neu-gewählten Präsidenten der EPIC-Länder ein neues Führungsgremium in EPIC wählen. Da der derzeitige Generalsekretär von EPIC zurückgetreten ist, übernehme ich dieses Amt für die restliche Zeit. Ich werde mich nicht wie im vorigen Monat als Kandidat für einen der Führungsposten aufstellen lassen, jedoch werde ich als Präsident Österreichs versuchen, unsere Interessen stark zu vertreten.

Ein wichtiger Punkt über die Schweiz wurde in diesem Artikel erwähnt. Ich habe sofort den Kontakt zu Patar333 gesucht, um dieses Störfeuer, welches mit diesem Artikel entflammt wurde, zu löschen. Wir sind pro-ONE bzw. EPIC und Schweiz ist unser Verbündeter, somit kann die Schweiz beruhigt weitertanzen.

Zurück zur Tagesordnung

Die komplette Regierungskonstellation ist noch nicht fertig, da noch einige Stellen besetzt werden müssen. Des Weiteren werden wir in Bälde noch mehr MPPs unterzeichnen, um uns somit für die Zukunft gegen etwaige Gefahren abzusichern.




Firstly, I have to thank everyone who participated in the election yesterday, and those who put their trust in me for the month ahead. It is always an honor, and I hope I can perform up to the expectations of this office.

The transition process for the new government has been going smoothly, and shortly the new cabinet listing will be made public. As stated in the campaign, I’m looking to include both new and old voices, with a focus on preparing new people to hold larger roles in the future. That is essential for the long term growth of this nation.

Communication

To increase communication between the government and citizens, I am implementing an Austrian “White Board.” This is named after, of course, white boards used for group meetings where short information can be noted for others to see. Google docs provides a digital version of this, where we plan to put simple updates, which can be expanded on later in a full article. In this way, checking it out can keep you ahead of the curve on what is happening. You can find this here. This is just one reason of many to join our IRC room, which I strongly encourage. Joining gives a chance to meet other players here, and take part in real time discussions about the game (or other topics). I hope to see you there!

Today’s Orders

In addition to internal communication, we have stepped up external communication to other nations, and placed up the first military orders of the month, which can be found here. The current priority is helping Hungary in Central Hungary, against a Romanian invasion. Soon we will have an MPP with them, but in the meantime you must move to Hungary to fight for them. Be sure to fight if you can, to show our support for our Hungarian ally!

International Politics

In the coming days, the new Presidents of EPIC’s nations will be called to a meeting, to elect new officers for the alliance. Due to the resignation of the Secretary General, I have become acting Secretary General for the remainder of her term. I do not plan to run again for Vice Secretary General, or to hold the role of Secretary General. However, I will work to facilitate the election of the new officers, and of course represent Austria within this alliance afterwards.

Finally, there was one other important issue that needed to be addressed, which was raised in this article, regarding Switzerland. After communicating with President Patar333, it has been clarified that in addition to being pro-ONE like us, the Swiss can indeed dance if they want to.

On the Agenda

As noted above, the final cabinet listing is being worked on, and will be completed soon. We’ll be in touch with nations, in the hopes of securing some more MPP’s, and will keep orders up to date today as appropriate.
