Join the new world

Yea, after 1 year of being active it erepublik and doing all different government jobs, it is now time for a new challenge.

So hereby I announce myself to run for president, because I think we need some stability in these times and I am the person to give this stability.



Me as person

I think I am the most suitable candidate because I have been an active member of the community for over a year now. I have done all different kind of jobs; I started with SS raws, then 2 months MoR. After that SS MoF and then 2 months MoF, then I took a brake because it was summer holiday and when ur going on holiday for 3 weeks it’s not good to take a government position. After the summer holiday I returned and worked as SS of defense and this month I am SS finance again. With all this I also am a general for the army. So as u can see I have experience in both the finance and defense sector. Beside these government jobs I have also been actively part of the Pecuniam investment group and i am currently still partner in the Pecuniam Bank. I have always been active in ensuring peoples investments, as such i believe i can be trusted for the most powerful position our country has to offer.



National goals

Ok now first I will explain my goals that I set in game:

20% increase in GDP, everybody knows I keep up with financial changes and I will keep doing this, together with the help of our citizens I think we can use all the changes to our advantage.
However the GDP calculation is bugged so this is mostly a symbolic number.


1% population increase.
Personally I wanted a decrease of 20%, but erepublik wouldn’t allow me so its 1% increase.
U might want to ask why decrease? Well as u might know, we are still under threat of Croatian PTO and I will put much effort into making sure that bug abusers and multie users will be banned. And because I believe we still have lots of multies and bug abusers in the country it will be more logical to expect a decrease of 20%. However I have already spoken with some people who have ideas for a baby boom, the first ideas look promising, however I will spend more time on this if I get elected.


Keep current regions.
As we all know there have been multiple Natural Enemy proposals these days.
Besides that we are still bordering Poland which could decide to attack us any time, if they are bored. But I can promise u one thing, the last month we saved up some stock and I believe we are good prepared for any invasion. If Poland decides to attack then we will give them hell, we might not win but we will fight hard.


The Belgium situation

As said before, we have had some disturbances between the Netherlands and Belgium, with declarations of Natural Enemies (NE) from both sides. I have many friends living in eBelgium and I know the people there, therefore I believe that with me as president I can relieve the tension between both countries. But we don’t have to forget that the majority of the people always have the power, so if the majority wants war (because they all might be a bit to bored) then I could agree, however only when it goes through the right steps (so debated in congress and signed by a majority in congress). But I must say that I will do all I can to make sure that we will not go to war.


PTO

We had 2 threats of PTO in our country, we had Croatian PTO that acquired citizenship through a bug and then invited friend over and we have the Multi army that joined around 1100th erepublik day. The multi army has been dealt with for the most part (they can always come back but then we will report them again), I would like to thank the admins for that. However the Croatian PTO threat is not over yet and as CP I will use my power to make sure the admins see the tickets and react accordingly.


Activity

IRC is an important part of the game and besides a lot of important decisions that are made on IRC, it also keeps the game fun. As president u can expect from me that I will continue my high activity on IRC, with some exams I might lock myself during the day, but everybody who knows me will know that I will be online every day. I also expect from government members to be the same, because communication is everything if u want to do ur job properly.


Economy

We have a good stock q5 food now, so this company can close down. We are still building our q5 weapon stock and I hope that we can finish that this month. Also I would like to invest 40 gold in 2 companies for our newly formed unit DFA (for everybody with less than 1000 strength), so that they can produce their own raws and food and that the state would only need to sponsor them 3k nlg each month (minimum wage of 5 nlg, for maximum of 20 people). For the rest it all depends on the new raws and what admins want to do with them. They already said they have some new changes for us, so we need to prepare ourselves for it and let the market do their work. The government should provide everybody with information about these changes so that the transition goes smoothly.


Defense

I think the DFA unit will be a good addition to our current army and will give the opportunity to young citizens to fight and to learn the war module in a safe environment. Besides that I would like the new Minister of Defense to have a plan in what he/she wants to hand out to the elites. In the times with the defense department I have learned that there is always a shortage when it comes to the army, however with and good structural plan it will be possible to supply the elites throughout the whole month.
