If the EPIC haters could bother trying to convince people to vote the way they wanted, rather than just wanting to do something and expecting everyone to follow along because they said so, then perhaps things would more likely go their way. Since they are just looking to find excuses for their own failures though, and have no way of knowing who voted what way (they could very well be the ones voting things down, we cannot know) they are clearly simply trolling.

If EPIC wants their name cleared then they need to hold the people they elect accountable for what they do and how they vote. But when you have no standards like you have claimed then that explains why EPIC doesn't care about eCanada and the people that live here...

Show me it is EPIC that is voting down the NE first. You can't, because you have no way of knowing if it's EPIC congress members voting it down.

I think it's the MDP that is doing it. They haven't proven anything to me that says they are voting yes. MDP is the biggest party fighting against the NE's and is just looking to blame EPIC who is clearly voting yes on the NE's. Damn those MDP for costing us our patriot gold.

In fact, I can confirm it. I just took a look at every single NE proposal put forward in game here, and I couldn't find anything that shows any member of the MDP voted in favour of them. For shame MDP for voting against it and blaming EPIC.

Why is it okay for members of EPIC, a self-proclaimed party without policy nor platform, to say whatever they want and yet EPIC members take exception to non-members of EPIC when those non-members say whatever they want about EPIC?

It would appear to me that EPIC is trying to say that you need to be a member of EPIC to be entitled to free speech and freedom of political opinion. That's BS

EPIC started out 5th in party rankings (or lower) when it was first formed and has slowly made it's way to be 1st. If it is such a waste, perhaps you should look to why people have joined it in the past then. You're idea of what is a waste is not the only one. Mine is the suppression of those within a party under strict rules and forcible leaders, as such many of the other parties are a waste. That is their choice though, accept ours and Funky off.

Etemenanki, your party's apathy and nihilism on political matters are the reason why eCanada continues it's decline, both philosophically and in numbers. Contrary to whatever you're smoking, members need guidance and ideas handed down to them to be able to grow into proper active citizens, something that political parties have a great opportunity to do. When you it's your party's mantra to say nothing, think nothing and believe in nothing, then your party is nothing and a waste of a Top 5 spot.

I don't need to mention the problem with having no discipline (sort of the opposite of the MDP or Norsefire) is that the parties doesn't learn the mechanics of administration and your party ends up lazily electing people like Trenton Rendell and the last Congress who voted to 'declare war' and waste us precious gold.

It's just that people have expectations about EPIC that are not even considered for parties that are much smaller, and therefore easier to manage.

First of all, EPIC members who are elected to represent you in congress are all free of their opinion, the Party of EPIC does not require them to place themselves under the party line. The party don't even have a code of conduct. So they vote as a person and not as a party. Every EPIC Congress member exerce their right to vote like they want.

WOW you are telling me you created a party without motives and goals. I thought parties have a mission and objective to improve the country! WOW

So far as I can tell, most parties have a rather poor party line and do not directly support a well-established party platform, as what once existed in such things as earlyMOO before it lost focus (from what I have experienced). Perhaps MDP does vote en bloc, but it doesn't have a platform to follow, just the direction of the Dictator/Party Leader...who is now AWOL anyhow.

@christian Doesn't really mean you need to tell them where to vote but yes food and tanks and telling them where to fight as one unit does really help our prospects.

Don;t worry about MDP Plugson there's always someone around to make sure the party runs smoothly even if a Dictator happens to disappear suddenly.

The problem with EPIC IS the fact that each member can vote how they chose and the party itself stands for NOTHING.....

People vote blindly the way the old DAL used to.... People flock to EPIC to get votes in numbers there is no QUALITY of voting anymore, just QUANTITY now.... Hold your members accountable, if they don't participate DON'T put them up for re-election....

If you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything... just as EPIC voters do each congressional elections...

Rylde, yes, I do agree there. So long as there is a strong player leading MDP, it will move forward with a direct plan (just don't a democractic dictator like Sasha take over again). The same is true for other parties, since it is very rare to see a strong platform lead the party. Usually, it is a strong leader behind the platform that makes it work.

People talk about EPIC having no values to direct the party.Well, I'd argue all parties in eCanada are not driven by platforms or tenets or values.They are driven by strong leaders in the party and it gets harder to control a party when it gets large and amorphous, as EPIC has become. I'd bet a similar proportion of MDP, CPF, and Fellowship of the Ring members (ha, we never hear ANYTHING about them now) are complacent and uninvolved with their party's direction.ManyClickers of different herds
