I’m a reasonably new player to the game, and this is my first time seeing a government assemble, but I have a really good feeling about what is going to be accomplished this term. There are some key features of Connell’s plan which I think will not only pull us through some tough times and problems, but will also add structure and integrity to the government system of eIreland for many governments to come.

This is a brief description of the new eIrish governmental system:

FACT: The Irish government is currently made up of 12 Ministries and 4 Outstanding Positions. The Congress is made up of 32 Congress Members.

12 Ministries
- currently 21 Ministry Positions
4 Other Positions
32 Congress Members

The Ministries Are:

Finance-
Concerned with all issues of currency, gold, and national or international economy.

Defense-
Concerned with national defense and the success of military goals.

Foreign Affairs-
Concerned with general international relations. This department overlaps many functions of other ministries, but is helps cooperate those functions.

Community-

Concerned with bringing more advanced and effective tools to eIreland, such as setting up forums,
or parliamentary systems which exist separate from the actual eRepublik domain.

Health-
Concerned with providing players with the tools to keep their health at good levels, resulting in better production as well as support in battles.

Recruitment-
Concerned with increasing the population of eIreland and it’s military, to help us compete with larger nations in the new size oriented gameplay.

The Outstanding Positions Are:

Country President- Head of government, elected to run the country.

Vice President- Provides advisement and valuable opinions to the President. May also be a representative on behalf of the president in cases of rare emergencies or request.

Vice Vice President- Acts as a third view and additionally valuable opinion in important presidential matters.

Congress: Congress are elected to propose and vote on bills, ranging in subject from donations to taxes to setting the minimum wage.

Google serves as the Dail Eireann (Parliament):
All of the ministries will be collaborating and receiving orders through Google Calendars. Weekly Ministry goals will be set on this calendar and it will also act as a database for the history of the party, it’s accomplishments, and the decisions it can be credited and made liable for. In addition this will cut down on the time it takes for a new government to settle in, by providing the new governments in the future with all of the information and tools that the former government worked for. The government will now be able to share and pass on some of its experience every election.
