Announcement of Candidacy for Congress

This will not be an issue of De Vrije Pers, but rather the announcement of my intention to run for congress in the upcoming elections.


Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,

I have played eRepublik on and off for awhile on a number of accounts, all of which I left in order to perform better in school, and I have never seen the eNetherlands sink so low as it has now. Every time I played, the eDutch community gave me so much in the form of supplies, information, and what I find to be most valuable, their support. For these reasons, I would like to give back to the community which has given me so much by running, and hopefully serving in, the congress of the eNetherlands.

I am an active member of the eNetherlands, both on-site and on the forums in which I converse fluently in both English and Dutch. I also run a newspaper called De Vrije Pers, which in many ways represents the ideals which I wish to promote: making the voice of the people heard.

As a member of congress, it will be my job to cast aside my own interests in order to represent the interests of the eDutch citizenship. This means bringing to light the issues which you may have, and voting as you wish. The role of a member of congress is to represent the people, after all.

So, with your support, I hope to represent you in congress! If there are any questions, please feel free to post them below. I will answer each and every one to the best of my ability.
