Introduction
The Second Last Round of ANCA was quite rewarding. Two hardfought matches with one of them being a major upset. South Australia followed up with their first win when they took on the Down Under NSW Knights and provided a great spectacle for those watching. Intent on rivalling the excitement. Queensland and the Albuera VIC Venom clashed and put on a gladiator worthy match.

SA v NSW Scorecard
South Australia drew quite the crowd in their match against NSW on the fine day at the Adelaide Oval. Winning the toss, SA decided to bat first, Schoft and Brenflakes making their way out. A great start, blasting 24 runs off 3 overs, Schoft (15) was soon dismissed when he attempted a big shot around Silent Hero. Dark Vorodor came out with excellent shot choices, looking in fine form as he played on to a 30+ run innings. A thick edge behind to M0TT0M ended the innings of Dark Vorodor (31). Strong bowling from NSW and more importantly Noodle70, kept Maggot Master and Brenflakes on the backfoot for a while until they mustered up the will to take a dose of cement.

Putting on a 130 run partnership, NSW began to look very uneasy. Thankfully for them, a questionable LBW appeal worked in their favour and Brenflakes (85) was sent packing after a dominant innings. Calbe (7) was unlucky 11 balls later when attempting to play around the pace bowling of Noodle70, the middle stump was in flight for a while. Darth Spader (4) was also unable to convert after a defining season so far. Edging a ball to M0TT0M. The run out of Etheodoria Vulpine (7) and the dismissal of Zaney (0) for a duck helped to stamp out any late resistance from SA. Phor Cillic (19 no) and MaggotMaster (77 no) faced out the rest of the overs and retired. South Australia making 257.

NSW had a slower start then SA, the early loss of Mr Rosewater (16) didnt help either as Dark Vorodor took a simple catch. Iwarrior1 came in and offered some excellent support as they built up a partnership. Putting on 56 runs before someone had to fall, Iwarrior1 (30) was caught by MaggotMaster as he attempted an agressive driving shot forwards. Arthinian was controlling the game from the bat as soon as he got in. Pulling off every shot in the book as he stacked up the runs. Unfortunately, Super Christopher's (69) time at the crease was up as he too, like Iwarrior1 before him, attempted to hit the ball over mid-off.

Rodimus (9) fell early as the wind picked up and CrusaderCarl used it to his advantage. Spazicus hit some good shots and began to look relaxed as he settled in. Unfortunately, probably due to this being his first innings, Spazicus (17) got carried away and attempted to hack the ball through his legside. Dark Vorodor taking a spectacular catch. Silent Hero (11) and M0TT0M (2) both falling victim to the in-swingers of zaney. Coming in on the 48th over, Rougeman (2 no) was unable to get many runs away before the innings was over and NSW ended up 17 runs short of the win.

QLD v VIC Scorecard
The Albuera Venom were ready for action as they won the toss at the GABBA and decided to bowl first. Arthur Cole and Banzai3141 getting QLD off to a steady start. Some strong bowling from debut VIC player Dylan Darkness earned him his first wicket as Arthur Cole (19) attempted to sweep the ball along the ground and ended up top edging it. Dylan Darkness struck again shortly after as he sent Banzai3141 (11) walking back when he top edged the ball to Sir Terrifico who was in gulley. Larni Kaddlestorm and Hinokai put their foot down and applied some excellent forward shots as they built up a strong partnership.

Hinokai (42) soon pushed his luck as an excellent in-swinger from Dylan Darkness slapped him on the pads blatantly infront of the stumps. After a streaker ran into the field and the cameras caught Swiffer_m chewing on the ball, it was then Interlax's turn to be on the spotlight as he also built on a partnership with a fine form Larni Kaddlestorm. A mammoth hit from Larni Kaddlestorm (70) was soon regretted as Swiffer_m took a stunning catch on the boundary. The unusual deployment of Binda33 to bowl for two overs payed off when she lured Mack Craft (0) into playing an irregular aerial shot. Peter Wilkon never looked like dropping it.

14 runs later and Interlax (31) was also caught by Sir Terrifico at gulley when he attempted a cut shot. The back order failing to last much longer. DJ Brock (1), Widdows9000 (12), Timeoin (1) and Howiedark (0) all fell cheaply and left Joseph Rich (19 no) partnerless and forced to retire.

A good start from two overs by Victoria was soon eclipsed by the self-runout of captain Lews Therin (9). Mitch Johnstone (31) was happy to lead most of the partnership between himself and Binda33. Great bowling from Timeoin earned himself 2 wickets in one over. Binda33 (5) caught behind with a feint edge and Jade Anon (0) caught at Silly when he made a mess of blocking the ball. Peter Wilkon only had a short term with Mitch Johnstone (31) when Mitch was caught at Square leg. Peter Wilkon and Dylan Darkness looked like a chemical perfection as they made the batting look uncomplicated. However they seemed to have mellowed out too much as Dylan Darkness (40) played a half hearted shot and didnt get the lob he would've liked. Larni Kaddlestorm taking the catch no worries.

Swiffer_m helped add some more runs on the board and began to close in on the QLD total. Sadly, he had to say goodbye to Peter Wilkon (51) when an excellent shortball from Howiedark lured him into the edge and into Joseph Rich's gloves. Patti11 was also able to decrease the margin but was left alone when Victoria also suffered the same fate as Queenslands back order. Swiffer_m (1😎 run out from horrible communication between the pair, Sir Terrifico (7) completely decieved by the bowling of DJ Brock and was out LBW. Sir C0nstant (0) offered little competition, edging it behind and Greenlamp (3) lacked enough batting experience to finish it off. Patti11 (16 no) forced to retire yet again and Victoria having to take in the loss.

Conclusion
ANCA's 2nd last round showed everything is possible still and that every team still has a chance to make it into the final. Without going into alot of dribble, All three teams (QLD, SA and VIC) can statistically make it into the finals with NSW depending on how well the last round goes. Alot will be riding on it. The Test Series Round Robin is planned after and the Prize Pool is still looking juicy, hanging past the 40 gold mark. I would like to apologise for the lateness of this article and hopefully I can present the next one on time. A fair amount of stuff needs to be done before I can release all this stuff and even now I havent updated the ANCA doc in a while. Combined with Real Life and you find yourself tight for time. Stay Tuned and Good Luck to All Teams.
